Just double-checked and the set they sent me to review had Extended Editions of all the episodes. That is really bizarre that yours doesn't have the Extended Version options on the first disc.

Agreed, to an extent. Brotherhood does have some comedy--very similar to how Rurouni Kenshin mixed in some comedy elements with an excellent story (well, up until the Kyoto Arc ended).

From what I read there will be about 100 episodes in DBZ Kai. The first set had 13, so you gotta figure 7-8 volumes. Never saw the DBZ series until the Kai release, but I'm loving it so far.
