My dad started this and gave it up, after couple seasons only. I thought his type of thing. He likes NCIS: LA and Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-O. Are those more procedurals? Wrapped up with a tight bow at end and maybe some overall personal stuff that carries over. He stopped Bosch got some reason.

The shows you listed are 100% procedurals. Bosch has season long cases with a bunch of character stories going on at the same time.

Spinoff?

I'm so behind. I think I've only watched the first three seasons but it's such a good show where I need time to just devote to watching the episodes.

I just read up on that and it is basically a conintuation of the show, with Bosch still being the main character, but with a different spin on it. I guess he'll be an investgator for Mimi Rogers' character.

I know all the other seasons have hit all at once but I am surprised they didn't switch this one up to drop weekly like their newer shows.

I was like maybe that was a red herring and they fooled us about spinoff premise. Then the coffee cup ricochet and I was like she will live. It is a bummer that we got word the spinoff was a go before this aired

Fitting end. I do believe they added that last bit because of the new show. I have a feeling when Bosch was talking to Pierce, he knew what was going to happen and his shit transfer would essentially be only on paper. You could tell when Maddie told him her plans at the bar, he knew it was all going to blow up.

I was half expecting Bosch to slug Irving at the end. Hopefully we get some resolution to all of this stuff in the new show, along with some cameos.

I did like how they weaved in a lot of the past characters, including Lillard and Wersching.
