WiiU has a great lineup of software this year at $299.

Despite evidence to the contrary, I think it's a next gen console.

I also thought it would be interesting to see whether anybody was buying one as a complimentary console.

Well, I voted for PS4 because I already have a Wii U. I haven't heard from anybody who's planning to buy one for this holiday season.

Yep, X1 and a WiiU would be my choice if I had extra money. PS4 is irrelevant now as the X1 plays blurays and I don't care about indie game :)

I've unexpectedly found myself with about $250 in Best Buy credit. So I was thinking I would probably hold off on a new console until some time next year, but now I'm starting to think maybe I will buy one. I confess I haven't really been following this version of the console wars since early summer when Microsoft was hard at work backpedaling from every statement they made about the XBone, so I guess I've got me some research to do.

We're expecting our second child in February so money is tight - too tight for a new video game system just for me. Plus, I don't have any games that are really pulling at me right now. I wish I could say Battlefield 4 but it looks too much like Battlefield 3 for me to go for it.

I will stay with my PS3 and I will miss you all. :)

Wii U is still a bit overpriced for what it is, but once it goes down a bit I agree it'll be a great secondary platform.

If I understand correctly, I'll be able to see when you are online on my PS4, and my PS3 will still be hooked up (Blu Ray/Netflix/Rock Band/Backlog). If I see you on BC2, I will absolutely switch over to play with you. :)
