Hopefully this happens. I thought those Level 1 releases didn't sell well? It'd be great if they can actually get these out at $45 a season. I will be buying them as I'm always for more anime on Blu-ray.

Did you buy it on DVD, actionjackson?
I'm still thinking about it, but I don't think I'm in. I have the Dragon Boxes on DVD, and unless they come up with an equivalent on Blu forget it. I also have Kai on Blu. Honestly, I love DBZ, I watched it unsubbed on fuzzy VHS taped from Japanese TV, rented from the Japanese book store down the street, and my Japanese stinks. I have all the untranslated tankouban, as well as the translated ones from Viz. But I don't think I'll ever watch the complete series more than once more in my lifetime. It's just too long, and has too much filler. Despite the changes, something like Kai is perfect for me; I hope they do a Naruto Kai and even a One Piece Kai some day too.
Plus it's a double edged sword with Funimation. I have no idea how much they'll have to pay to remaster it/make it look better. But if they release it and it tanks, they may not make it all the way through. If it's wildly successful, no way they don't re-release it.

I have some of the dragon boxes on DVD. Not 2 or 4 which inexplicably went OOP early. From the survey it seems like they'll release full seasons for $45. Yu Yu Hakusho was released for the same price so I do believe this is very possible. The survey also mentions the original Dragon Ball series so maybe that has a chance at some point also.
