Just picked up a copy (finally). I didn't see an ad thread for this week in here, so I figured I'd start its own thread.

I forgot to check if it was for this week only or if its part of one of the month-long sales. So if anyone remembers to check the shelf tag for the end date, please post it.

Won't let you use that 10% since it's "on sale", it's only for normal priced items....
Atleast that's what happened when I tried to use mine....

States right on the coupon regurlarly priced items only. It won't scan at the register if the item is on sale.

I used my coupon no problem when I picked up Night Watch, Day Watch, and Beowulf Sunday and all 3 titles were onsale. The funny thing is, that it tried to apply the discount to my up pre-order too, which also voided out the steelbook being free.

It know it states regular price only, but it positively scans and works on sale items. I just bought 3 DVD's on Saturday that were on sale. It worked on all 3. I also bought a clearance network router with the other coupon, and it worked on that, too. It is YMMV, but certainly worth trying... Unless it is a brand new release, the cashier will probably be clueless that it's on sale...

Amazon must read these forums. Right after I posted this thread, it was still $18.99 over there for a short period.

I just wish I had seen this news before opening it just now. I would have returned it and orderd from Amazon along with South Park tomorrow.

Actually, yes they read the forums around the net and see what are the special offers competitors like Target, Best Buy and Toy's R Us have and they'll most likely pricematch them.

Yeah, never believe a Best Buy employee. They don't know anything, but love to pretend like they do...

I did buy this last night, with coupon. Came up 13.49 with no issues. I also got Interview with the Vampire for 8.99. However, it does NOT work when a pricematch is involved. I had them PM their web price on Dirty Dancing (9.49), which did not get the 10% discount...
