Got my copies. Both BB and Target showed out of stock but they both had at least one each. No problems getting BB to take the coupon, and no problems having Target price-match and take the coupon.

Ugh! I can't get my coupon at all. When I go to enter the UPC code (ENTER CODE NOW) it redirects me to the home page. Please don't tell me that "while supplies last" was taken by all the double dippers out there when I just wanted my one lousy copy for the kid. I was waiting until Best Buy restocked and now that they have, I'm out of luck. I hope Disney fixes this before the coupon expires.

Yes, it redirects you to the home page, because you're supposed to enter the UPC number in the same box where you would normally enter a Magic Code.

Okay, I haven't had my coffee yet. I did enter the UPC code into said box, but forgot you had to enter the teeny tiny numbers on the outside of the barcode. Thanks for prompting me to try again.

Yeah, don't blame us double dippers! They allow you to get two anyway.

Re: Alice In Wonderland (1951) Disney $10 off coupon

Best Buy told me that they don't accept coupons on sale items, and that it said so on the coupon. (Interesting, since it was a manufacturer's coupon, and not theirs) I asked where it said that, and she basically showed me that it said the cash value of the coupon, and that it was only valid for in stock items. I asked again, and she offered to get a manager, but told me he'd only tell me the same thing. I told her, quite loudly, how stupid I thought she was/they were, and left...but grabbed an ad on my way out. Target gave me no problem with both a pricematch and accepting the coupon.

I can sympathize with your frustration, but you have to remember that employees tend to be less informed on stuff like that than your typical DVDtalker. However, I ran into a guy that works the site-to-store and returns section and he's always up on the deals. I'll bet he comes here or SD.

I guess I'm lucky with my local BB. My cashier took two coupons on my two copies without hesitation. She just manually typed in $10 twice and didn't even try scanning them. Awesome.

No problems picking up 2 copies with 2 coupons at my local Best Buy tonight. The cashier scanned both, but rung them up as seperate transactions. Great price for a great looking disc.

Mine luckily had 4 left so I picked one up! Used the $10 gift card and $2 shopkicks $8.xx out the door.

As easy as it is to PM at Target or Wal-Mart, why does anyone bother with Best Buy?

At my BB, the $10 is taken off after tax is applied so I pay an extra .83 at BB. But even if they didn't do that, I would still PM WM or Target, since both would give me better customer service than BB. After my last experience with BB, I'm back on the hate wagon.

My Target denies having a price-matching policy, but I have no hesitation about PMing at Walmart (which is a lot closer to me anyway). One of the guys who works in the electronics department is really good about keeping competitor's ads on hand so I don't even have to bring any kind of proof with me. And on top of that, he's even just taken my word about a few sales in the past without consulting the ads! It's things like that that assuage my guilt over supporting the worldwide retailer that's stifled competition at the local level wherever they've taken hold.

0 left at BB in West Patterson, NJ.
Ended up PMing at Little Falls, NJ Target.
Right before closing.
They only had one left.
I snuck in the deal at the last second before closing tonight.
Sweet.

Plenty left at Hattiesburg, MS BB...

They always have new releases really...the Target on the other hand...what a joke.

If you do shopkicks or Coke Rewards you can get them cheaper at Best Buy with the certificates.

In many states, if not all that have sales tax, that's how manufacturer's coupons are supposed to be done. They are supposed to be treated as a form of payment since the store will be reimbursed for it, where store coupons are treated as a discount on the item.

Re: Alice In Wonderland (1951) Disney $10 off coupon

Unbelievably, it's 2011 and a $10 Disney coupon comes and goes and this completely incompetent company makes it impossible to do the simple job of printing it off the internet. Why the actual coupon cannot be visible at any time on the screen is beyond comprehension. If it was, any printer could print it. Or, why they just don't send the coupon to our e-mail accounts.

My Walmart typically keeps copies of ads in case you forget them, but often there are only 1 or 2 copies in the store (1 in electronics and 1 up front) and finding them (especially if already being used) may be time consuming. There's 1 nice guy at my nearest Walmart too, but he's rarely there when I go, and nobody has ever just taken my word.

PM'ing is something I haven't had any trouble at any Target store. I'm surprised there is a store anywhere that refuses, and you'd think (unless each store is allowed to opt out) you'd be able to tell corporate and make them follow corporate policy to PM. The only issue for me is maybe 1 out of 3 times on a PM + mfg. coupon they'll try to say I can't do both. About half of the time I can convince the employee to do it anyway. The other half of the time I have to go to a different Target. That wouldn't be so bad (as they are all over the place near me), but with the good prices and the Disney BD coupons only good during the first week and most stores going out of stock on the 1st or 2nd day after release, instead of being able to go to another store at my own convenience if I can't do a PM + coupon I'm forced to drive to another store immediately on Tuesday morning, thereby making me later for work. I guess stores are scared to order enough copies of Disney BDs and would rather be OOS.

I'm not a huge fan of Best Buy, but I like getting the Reward Zone points, and since I'm a Premier Silver member, they add up faster.

From http://www.couponsinc.com/crc/consumers-dosanddonts.asp :

"You should never see the actual coupon on your screen, only an offer to print it. Real coupons require special software to print proper barcodes and limit the number of prints of each coupon." If the coupon is visible, one can make a screen cap and post it over the internet, thus defeating the built-in security of encoded coupons.

I could care less about any security issue. Disney's ineptness has prevented me from purchasing this at BB for $10. this week.

I don't see this as ineptness on Disney's part.
