BTTF is $14.99 in store as well; $9.99 after using the $5.00 coupon.

My store had about a dozen on the shelf, only four were the taller new packaging, the rest were the shorter -- "awful trays" -- original packaging.

^ My Best Buy in West LA had only one copy, which someone grabbed before me. I already own, so no worries. But, when he went to pay at the register, it scanned at $24.99, not $14.99. He had to go to Customer Service with a Target add to price match.

I was able to pick up BTTF on Blu-ray for $9.99 + tax at Best Buy this morning, and pick out the version with the newer packaging from the posts in this thread. Thanks to all in this thread.

Mine rang up at $24.99, but there was a $14.99 shelf tag and the cashier price matched to the $14.99 BBY Online price right there.

Online price at $24.99.

Just my luck that I didn't place my order this morning when it was $14.99...

Thanks guys, I got Avatar for about $15 earlier this afternoon. They took the coupon without a word - rather out of character for them, I must say.

Believe it or not, I haven't seen it yet, and wasn't about to pay $35, $40, $55 for it...

I was able to get them to price match Target's ad and use the $5 coupon for BTTF. $10.49 out the door

Thanks for this thread...

I have canceled my order at Amazon ($24.99) and ordered from Best Buy.com instead.

Weird that there is controversy over the BTTF price since they have signage in-store saying it is $14.99.

Re: Best Buy ad for 6/12/11 - 6/18/11

I see that the ESPN 30 for 30 Blu Ray set is on sale for $60. I also just noticed that Amazon will have the DVD Collector Set on sale for $50 tomorrow thanks to its Movies & TV Facebook page reaching 32k fans.

Is there anything special about the Collector Set to warrant getting it instead of the space-saving Blu Ray set? I'm having trouble finding a clear description of what's in the Collector Set.

I noticed they changed the BTTF signage in-store today to the $24.99 price.

Never done a price match before believe it or not.

With regard to the BTTF set being $14.99 at Target, what would I need to show them as proof of that price in order for them to price match.

I printed the $5 coupon and also got the $5 GC fromshopkick and was really praying that with the pricematch and then $5 coupon and $5GC, I might be able to get the set for $5

A copy of this week's Target ad circular. During checkout, just tell them you'd like to pricematch the item, and then show them the circular.

I think BB's policy is to not apply coupons to pricematched items. I've been able to do it a few times, but oftentimes I am denied. The shopkick should not be a problem, since it's a gift certificate, but the $5 off coupon might be.

Only if you think better picture and sound means anything.
