Band of Brothers & Pacific $20 each
For years I have missed out on BoB deals ... finally got in on one! Plus The Pacific to boot! Picked up both for $42 taxed and shipped.

Definitely. Same high quality, although most prefer BoB because it's more focused since it stays with one unit pretty much throughout the European campaign. The Pacific follows several separate characters and their story arcs (it was adapted from a couple of books as opposed to the one in the former series). We sell both; nearly every customer PREFERS BoB but still think Pacific is first-rate. We agree...it's kind of apples & oranges (Pacific takes a much broader approach in showing not just the combat in the Pacific Theater but also R & R, the homefront, etc.
The upshot is...highly recommended & worth every penny. We paid $38 and never regretted it.

$20.19 shipped (less cashback) -- in for Band of Brothers. I watched both series last year off on-demand. I'll bite on BoB at this price and watch it again. It's the very rare mini-series that I will rewatch.
While I enjoyed the Pacific, I do not think I will revisit it.

My set came in this morning and I noticed that the invoice did not reflect the coupon. the invoice still rings up $32 instead of $22.
Now I have to check my Paypal statement to see if I was charged the correct the amount.
EDIT - I was charged $22. Looks like the invoice was just has wrong amount on it.

Received it today, and it was in the tin packaging. Not sure if that's common, but I was under the impression WB didn't have anymore of these in the tin. Looks great next to my Band of Butters tin.

UPDATE: Today, I had at least two fraudulent charges appear on the same card I bought The Pacific @ WBShop.
What. The. Fuck.
The only other possibility is purchasing items today at half.com with their shout factory titles being on sale, but my cc# would have had to have been captured within an hour and used.
