Not sure why but in the package, VS packed in replacement artwork for the Blood Games BD.

Possibly in case it got damaged? Even then, that is a lot of extra covers they would need to print out for everyone who ordered.
The original omitted 2k in the text.

As long as the website is still down (it is), that means they're still shipping orders from the sale. It's a small outfit. I only got my notice at the end of last week, and I spent over $300

Still waiting on mine too. I'm not worried though, I mentally prepared myself for up to two months.

And like I always say: you can get damn near same day shipping from VS, and have your order within a couple of days. You just have to pay full price. Want your stuff 50% off? Then you wait a little longer. Deal with it.

Vinegar Syndrome is really top notch. Packaging with the bubble wrap plus the brown paper, and just the actual packaging for the discs using high quality material for their slip covers and whatnot. I’m always impressed when I get something from them.

Dying of laughter imagining somebody who doesn’t think dealing with it is complaining about it on the internet, with the quoted post itself being such a glorious example.

Everybody is fine.

Heard of event by youtube vids and can tell or guess they delays of stuff sent may cause of virus and less staff. then also if all media half off who knows how much everyone ordered can cause delay of shipping and stock so then when get have plenty to watch anytime.

Mine said the same thing and then just suddenly showed up on Monday. Even with the tracking still being stuck. Not sure what happened there but hopefully yours will get there soon!

I think they're still moving when they say pre-shipment. All of my recent Hamilton Book orders say that, then they just show up.

Re: Vinegar Syndrome Halfway to Black Friday sale is ON

Yeah, I made my main purchases, may add a few over the weekend.

Ordered:
Forgotten Gialli Vol 2
Forgotten Gialli Vol 3
I Start Counting
Alphabet City
Spellcaster (mostly for the New Wave icons in it)
Candy Tangerine Man/Lady Cocoa
Sugar Cookies (slip only)
Count Dracula's Great Love (slip only)

I hate that I spent $16 on cardboard (and the Sugar Cookies slip isn't all that interesting), but I do love the slipcovers they produce and those were two of my favorite Vinegar Syndrome releases. I was also only planning on buying Forgotten Gialli Vol 2 and waiting till November to pick up Vol 3, but then I realized it will only be a $10 difference plus keeping track on the website to make sure it doesn't sell out before then.

Any recommendations for partner label films that are on sale? I was considering a few. I'm not too familiar with them, but some of the descriptions and trailers are intriguing.

Re: Vinegar Syndrome Halfway to Black Friday sale is ON

^ Nah, the two I got are blind buys. I was never one to seek out the really rare and low-budget films back in the VHS-rental days, so a lot of the obscure movies VS and their partners release are total guesses for me.

I've found several gems that way, but a few duds too.
