I do wonder why the Night Gallery season 2 is so much more than 1 & 3

Five discs as opposed to two on the others.

Granted, Kino always puts a bunch of lesser (or low-selling) titles at $5.99 but, then as now, those were only a small percentage of any sale’s offerings, and the majority have always been in the $8.99 to $9.99 range, newer releases (if included) in the $11.99+ range. I won’t comment on 4K because I don’t buy them, but with Blu-ray they’ve actually been reasonably consistent, even if many titles are lower in one sale, then slightly higher in the next, which can make getting the absolute rock bottom price tricky. But when the difference is maybe a dollar, it’s hardly a deal-breaker because other titles in the cart make use for it.

I was going to post similar. The ~$6 titles I've purchased have *all* been part of the "clearance" section or DVDs.

That's good to know.

I'll probably hold off on picking them up in hopes the $14.99 price returns.

so many tiiiitlllleeeesss

The Pit at $7.99 drew me in (great weird-as-hell Canadian tax-shelter horror). But, is better PQ and commentary tracks enough to make me drop 50 bucks on Kolchak, which is, let's be honest, horrible (but great for nostalgia's sake).

Re: Kino Lorber & KL Studio Classics sales, discounts, and deals

I'm probably going to pass this time around. I want Good Guys Wear Black as it's hit my price point to complete my Norris KL collection. But, it can probably wait until I have some more money to spare for others on my Wish List. I have vacation plans coming next month. A lot of the stuff on my WL isn't on this sale.

Free shipping at $50 (they don't make that obvious, I had to dig around to find that)

Again, Good Guys Wear Black is not on sale. But, all other Norris movies are. It's also the last KL Norris movie I need. I'm going to have to pass on this sale. Maybe next time. And by then, hopefully the new Death Wish movies will be on sale.

Yeah, the only thing they have from my buylist is the Peter Cushing Dr Who movie and I don't want to deal with shipping for one thing.

And there'll probably be an Ultra HD upgrade of that before too much longer. (Both of the '60s Doctor Who movies have already gotten the UHD treatment overseas.) I'm kind of surprised that hasn't happened already. Kino Lorber said last year that those movies weren't big enough to warrant a UHD release, but they seem to be more flexible these days.

Is The HunchBack of Notre-Dame THAT much better than the Flicker Alley release? Idiot me purchased a used FA copy on the bay just last week not realizing there was a newer KL release

They've been announced but are super deluxe versions, at least $80 a piece.

I already have one of them on Blu, I just need the Daleks' Invasion Earth to match it. I'll have a nearly complete Doctor Who collection with that.
