This has jumped back to $94 and some change at Amazon. Even with share the love, it's still cheaper at Bn.com.

Yeah, I'm glad I got the order in when I did. I'm sure they sold quite a few when the lowered the price though. Seems to have been a pretty hot seller for them.

Yeah, it's back to $81. Sadly after the last price jump (just yesterday), I ordered elsewhere. Would have been a steal with STL. Nonethless I should have my hands on this by Friday!

minifigg, send me an e-mail at [email protected]

(But don't send love to that address. I can hook you up with someone who wants the books.)

If anyone's still buying, I'd also like to get in some love.

Thanks mini. Someone else (from this thread I guess?) sent me one too. I think they sent theirs first. But I can umm.. return the love when I make the purchase, if you want.

actually, if someone could resend their love, that'd be great. I guess I checked my email too late because it said 'this list has been sent to multiple recipients' and so I didn't get the discount.

again, my email is [email protected]

Finally got ahold of this set for my birthday. Holy crap, this thing is impressive. Everybody's right, it is huge! But still very classy. It'll take me forever to get through all of these.

I got my set this morning in a post bag (only the second time a package has been big enough to justify a bag).

What a delightful set. Larson's intros are interesting and the cartoons themselves are very funny. The binding and paper is top class as well.

The only downside is that BN and Amazon no longer have it for 40% off.

Looks like I bought it just in time. It's now $20 more than I paid for it at amazon.

just a heads up, my boyfriend works at B&N and they were told these are going OOP until next year. i don't think they expected the popularity of it and now can't catch up. he said they should be coming back at the beginning of next year.

Check out the cartoon from 5/19/82 on page 214 and the cartoon from 11/30/84 on page 436. Gary Larson alluded to four duplicates (2 each) in the preface, which are the other two?

Thanks. I'll let you know if I catch the other dupe, probably won't though.

I wouldn't be worried about his server, but the scanners! Hell, I wouldn't be suprised if the glass broke in with this huge thing.
