Just got a personal letter today from Mark apologising for the delay in his response. He said he could not figure out why the CSR told me what they did, but there were serious delays for over two weeks because of move in the used inventory in the warehouse. I assume everthing is now back to normal (what I suspected all along).

Mark, are you going to add the WWE WrestleMania Anthology box sets (4 individual sets and a big box with all the individual sets) that are due out on 11/1?

Also, will you be lowering the price on the Nightmare on Elm Street box set to bring it in line with the set's new $60 MSRP? Thanks.

I will check on the WWE titles. They will likely be in tomorrow's update. I will also run a pricing update this week and that title should be adjusted at that time.

BTW. I have been working on a site redesign this weekend. The front page is almost complete and can be seen here: www.digitaleyes.net

Thanks, Mark. And on the redesign - definitely like the blue shades better than the red/yellow combo.

Mark:

I'd love to order from your Company, but I've had nothing but problems with my last three orders, and your customer service department sucks (to put it bluntly).

All three of my last orders were paid with PayPal, all three of the orders were "lost" in your system. Each time it was the same excuses (in fact, the email responses I got were the same, telling me that no one actually read what I wrote), that it was PayPal and/or my fault. In 2 of the cases, I had already contacted customer service and received replies that my order was being processed, and then later it was lost (and once again, blamed on PayPal and my mistakes).

To make matters worse, my Frequent Buyer's points were not added correctly. On two of the orders, items that I wanted became out-of-stock due to the delays I experienced in waiting for my order to be processed and fixed.

As a final insult to injury, each time this happens,I was promised upgrades to my shipping...which never happened.

I'm sorry, but this type of customer service is not acceptable. Waiting a month or more for a standard order to ship, is not acceptable. (I'm sure there are some here who had good experiences, I haven't).

Have these problems been fixed? Nope. This weekend I attempted to place an order, had everything set, and then when I hit the button to pay via PayPal, I was returned to my shopping cart. This happened over and over again. I contacted your customer service via email, and guess what happened? I got the EXACT SAME email response that I have in the past. Word for word. Which did not answer my problem at all. The response that was sent to me requested that I provide Digital Eyes with my PayPal payment confirmation information, when I was writing to tell your Company that your website was not allowing me to place my order from the shopping cart!

Like I said, its frustrating and insulting to get these automatic responses. Do you have any humans answering your emails in customer service? Or do you just have a computer system that scans for key words and then generates responses with typical boilerplate answers?

I'm sorry that I've had to go public with these problems. But I while I have attempted to resolve them with your company, both with emails and telephone calls, the best I get is "we're sorry" and "I understand" and then broken promises and continued lousy customer service.

Like I said, I'm sure some customers have had wonderful experiences with your Company, but for the newbies who may not have ordered from you in the past, I think its only fair to tell them about the bad with the good, so they know what potentially they could be dealing with if they order from your company.

Could you please e-mail me directly so I can look into this? I do not know who you are so it is difficult to fix your problems. [email protected]

Thanks,

Our title search runs off of Muze's title list. Since they do not list Criterion in the title, they would not come up. You can go to:

www.digitaleyes.net/criterion.cfm?affiliate=DVT

to see our Criterion list.

Hey Mark,

I know DE and DDD are sister companies, so i was wondering if you are going to get the cheap WB TV sets. For example, Nip Tuck for $19.99. I was going to buy it, but I would just assum buy it from DE to get my points. (nearing 1000 point mark again - need that GC for the wifesChristmas present)
