All of these titles have been discontinued by Sony. When they are gone, they are gone for good. Of course, Sony may re-release them at some point.

coupons

Mark,

New to DigitalEyes (and just in time, apparently). I was wondering if I use a coupon code to preorder an item that ships after the coupon has expired, do I open a rift in space-time? Also, will my coupon be honored?

Thanks,
Matt

While I'm not Mark, as a frequent customer of DE, I can tell you that:
1. no rift will open (at least that I've noticed)
2. the coupon will be honored

What happened to the used titles? No titles come up when I check (except anime, but those are all listed as 0 available).

They take them down from time to time to update inventory - then put them back up. (usually a day or two)

Hi! I have been a customer for Digital Eyes (for almost 2 years), but recently I was inform they no longer will be shipping to me, because they are applying a policy of no-selling to customers who, like myself, have a forwarding address registered. In my opinion, they offer great prices and currently have some interesting promotions (like MGM 2x1), but there was no way I could make them go ahead and apply an exception in my case, taking in account they have shipped several times to said forwarding address in the US, with no problem how so ever for both parties. Anyway, due to said reason, I am looking for a new site where I can buy DVD movies at a similar good price (incluiding US shipping costs) and low risk of being rip off, so I appreciate the advice people can give here, as the finding motors I have used are not providing yet a good solution and I am not sure about using the DDD site, due to many complaints I read everywhere. Please let me add I am right now interested in purchasing Howling 1 and 2 DVD movies. Thanks in advance for the help!

Edit: Nevermind, I found my answer elsewhere.

I placed a big order and the majority of items ship put on 3/14 oro 3/21. I picked ship out as they become available, but so far only I got one email for only one item that has been scheduled to ship. When I check order status, it says the same thing that some items are/were scheduled to ship a few days ago but I havent received an email that they were shipped yet. Nothing is backordered or predordered or anything like that, so I'm wondering if I can get these orders in under the wire for double points, or will they only be eligible if I get the confirmation email before the last day?

It already is: http://www.digitaleyes.net/details.c...info=ABD014291
It's not showing up in search, but if you click on Just Announced, it's there.

Now if they'd only give me my credit for the used discs I sold them...

Mark (or anyone else in the know)...how often does the site update the "Points" that buyers get for purchases? On the website, it says once a week or something, but it seems to be less frequent than that. I'm waiting for them to be updated so I can order the four giallos that Blue Underground is releasing on 3/28....I should have about 300 more points coming to me from the $150 I spent during the MGM sale. Thanks for any information you can provide.

The site says it will be updated once a week on Thursdays, but I noticed this was not done for my account last Thursday either, for shipments made the previous week. I am also waiting for the update so I can use the credit on a new order.

Mark:

I had emailed your CS with this question about 3 weeks ago, but did not receive a reply probably because you folks are really busy with the merger with DVD Planet. You had sent all your customers an email on the merger, and how it should be transparent to us. All pre-orders, frequent buyer points, etc., should be visible under the same account at DVD Planet.

If we have accounts at Digital Eyes and DVD Planet with identical logins (most online sites use email address as logins these days), when you "transfer" our accounts to DVD Planet on April 1, will you:
(1) Keep the two accounts separate (How, with one login?)
(2) Merge the two accounts? What about frequent buyer points, pre-orders, etc?
Thanks.

The accounts will be combined into one account. Frequent Buyer Points from DE will be brought into your DVD Planet Account. You will be able to see all your open orders from both site and previous orders from both sites in the single account.

Greetings, Mark...

I congratulate you on what I expect will be a smooth and very successful transition as the two websites become one happy family. I have a question...is it okay to be sending a box of about 15 USED DVDs for in-store credit at the present time? I've bought from you many times, but never sold to you, so I wasn't sure how laborious the process is on your end.

Thanks,
CMMCCOMB

So is it about time to rename this the "Coupons for DVDPlanet Thread"?...

And is this still going to be the place to find out about coupons for Digital Eyes/DVDPlanet? (speaking of which, isn't it time for the new batch?)

It'll get renamed ..and I imagine they're probably waiting until they successfully merge before they issue some new coupons, but that's just a guess on my part.

Mark, Is free shipping through media mail no longer an option?
I tried to order an ultimate collection box set and chose that option but when I go to checkout it assigned a fairly large amount for shipping without any other choices.
Or is it because it is a box set?
Thanks

To test it out, I just placed the Planet ol the Apes ape head box in my cart. It defaulted to US Priority Mail/First Class for $2.90, with other options including Media Mail for $0.00. Maybe it was a temporary glitch that's been fixed.

I no longer see my frequent buyer points in my account. I assume it's just part of the merge and they will show up eventually. I also assume I can use them for an order now (although I'm waiting to get to 1,000).

Movielib, I actually just posted a question about that in the thread in the Store Forum. If you start the checkout process, it still has the drop-down box with how many points you can apply - which doesn't give you an exact number but at least gives you an idea (although I'd like to know exactly how many I need for 1000, since I'm over 800).
