Alright sounds like I'd better jump on this deal right now then. Thanks.

Good estimate Dabaomb!

Right now it'll be $22.99 + tax at Circuit City.

Eh. They offer that all the time. DDD has something similar that takes off $20. They are nice IF you want another credit card. But if you already have one credit card, I personally don't see a reason why you'd need yet another. But that's just me. To me it just sounds like one more thing to keep track of, and I'd rather not do that.

Anyway, I ordered Kingdom of Heaven 4 disc just now, and to get the free shipping I added a Dark Tranquility album

Awesome deal guys, thanks for the heads up. Ordered this from Overstock for my brother's birthday in June, he loves these kinds of movies so I'm sure he'll be pumped.

I personally liked the film, the acting, and the story and how it was shot. The weakest part for me (which I suspect it was for others) was that I think that with the length of the film being so long, the studios probably pressured Scott to trim out a lot of parts at the beginning and other places that hindered character development more and where we could have seen Orlando Bloom's character develop from what he was at the beginning to the leader he was at the end and bring out more of his human relationships rather than the huge emphasis on the big battle scene at the end that the studios probably wanted.

This release that's coming out is the director's cut, not the theatrical release that was out earlier. I'm really hoping that in this director's cut, there is a lot of footage that Scott was forced to take out that when put in, will make the film better where it was weak before and make it into a great film that I thought it could be.

I really liked the way it approached a sensitive subject like the Crusades and did so in a way that Muslims could like it as well as those of us in the west. It looked to be more three dimensional in its look at characters than other films in the past have been.

Worth a blind buy for a 4-disc set?

Every review for the Director's Cut makes it sound like it was Ben Hur.

It's a blind buy for me too.

Well, I'm ordering it along with the new Les Claypool album coming out on the 30th of May so I don't have to bother going to a store and searching for it. $28 for both? I'm in.

Same here. Thanks for the codes and the price watch on this one. I added Touching the Void for $0.90 (after discount) on a friends recommendation.

I was going to order from overstock but I'm going to be out of town for two weeks after it gets released so I went with amazon so it could rest at the post office until my return. Was going to wait until I got back but this price is too good to pass up. Blind buy for me too. Hope it's a goodie!

Keep in mind this version of the film is a blind buy for almost everyone, but the original film, from my own experience, was good. This version received the DVD Talk Collector Series rating, so it doesn't get any better than that around here.

I got in on this too, I appreciate it. I picked up the theatrical cut for $4 a while back and never got around to it, glad I waited.
