Too good a deal to pass up, considering I have held off buying this set for years.

I couldn't talk myself out of getting both the Python and Hammer sets. Great find. Does anyone know about the quality of the serial collections from Marengo Films?

Just a word of advice to anyone who is thinking about ordering this set. Both HamiltonBook.com and Edward R. Hamilton, Bookseller deal in closeouts and remainders (primarily books). Once they sell out of an item, there's no guarantee that they'll be able to get it on backorder. It's obvious that they have struck a deal with A&E to clear out the old version of the Monty Python Mega Set. I had a similar experience earlier this year when the British series "Danger UXB" was offered for $14.95. They sold out their initial supply but fortunately, in this case, they were able to get additional copies and I was able to get one the second time around (incidentally, this set has sold out twice now and is currently not available from Hamilton). But there are no guarantees that they'll get an additional supply of these sets if they sell out the initial stock as the original MP set is clearly a closeout item to make room for the reissued set.

I also recommend that you check the Hamilton sites on a periodic basis as they seem to get new titles on a sporadic basis . . . you really never know what they are going to have from week to week. Glad to see that a number of you were able to get in on this great deal.

Thanks to the OP! I already own the MP Megaset, but I've been waiting for a decent price on the Hammer House of Horrors for years! Got my shipping notice yesterday.
