Gotcha. I eventually ordered the set 12 hours ago and it was still listed as out of stock in the shopping cart, but the BACKORDER lists tentative availability on Nov 21, so all is good.

I imagine the old codes would still work since they would just have to extend the date and time of when the codes work instead of deactivating all the old ones except for one.

Can someone state what codes theyve used for anyone who's ordered since Saturday night?

Once you use the coupon code, you'll get the discounted price regardless of when it's shipped.

I have received the dvds in right format as mentioned by DDD. There is no argument about it. I just wanted to make people aware of the format of these dvds so that they can avoid these if they are looking for widescreen format. The only mistake I found is Door to Door dvd is only in 4:3 fullscreen format.

As for the whole shipping discussion - I've palced 3 orders, each over $500. The two most expensive ones were placed first, and I requested the $5.95 priority shipping. The least expensive one I requested free shipping and it was upgraded to priority at no charge. So I guess I won't be paying for priority shipping in future DDD sales.

I'm annoyed. I had no idea that a code could be entered only once, so I used the DVDTALK code last week (my second purchase) and my sale went through. The DDD site said nothing about it prior to my completed purchase. The price that was listed for my open order was the 20% off price so I wasn't worried but when it shipped they charged me full price and their response to my email was that the code could only be used once (why doesn't their site let you know before you purchase!?). Look at my completed order summary...my charged amount is the full, but the 20% is still lsited.

he..he.. My 1st order was cancelled by DDD, within minutes, when my Bank's computer went down (or some such).

When I re-submitted, the screen immediately informed me that the code had "already been used - Please try again!"

This was discussed early in the sale, and I think the conclusion that everyone came to was that these are now OOP. I think they are to be re-rreleased early next year though.

I would have loved for that to have happened. How hard is it for that too happen? I will call customer service near the end of the day and see what happens...basically, they charged my card for an amount that was not specified so I will dispute with my card company if needed.

Ahhh, ok. That was my first thought, that they were OOP, but you can still find them clogging the shelves at many stores, and Amazon.com has them available as well, so I wasn't sure.
