Still waiting on my copies of Mouchette from DVD Planet (supposedly sent on the 14th, and the tracking number provided in the e-mail doesn't work ) and Kenneth Anger Vol. 1 from CD Universe (shipped on the 22nd).

Oddly, I received the By Brakhage set from DVD Planet yesterday and it was mailed a full week after Mouchette.

DVD Planet takes forever. I waited almost three weeks once. Your DVDs should arrive eventually.

That doesn't tell us much unless we know when you placed your orders.

I've been getting a slew of Dvd Planet orders lately. All of these were several orders combined together, the bigger package, the faster it arrives. I'm still waiting on some single dvds that were shipped out quite a while back, though. Masters Of Horror - Fair Haired Child, shipped close to 3 weeks ago and Y's Legacy, close to 2 weeks. I'm sure they'll be here any time now.

Boy, DVDPlanet is so slow to restock. I had ordered "Conversations with Other Women" around 1/7 (it was showing in stock, though the release date was 1/9). It never shipped and has been "Temp. out of stock" ever since.

You think that's bad, how about this -- I ordered the LOONEY TUNES GOLDEN COLLECTION VOL. 4 in NOVEMBER (during the 20% off sale) and I believe it's been sold out ever since. I've received emails that it'd be "coming back in stock mid January" but my copy, at least, has never shipped and it still says sold out on the site!

That's exactly my experience also. I received a box of titles within 7 days but a single-disc order -- that shipped a week before it -- STILL hasn't arrived and it's been nearly 3 weeks.

oh and i should ALSO add...that i bought USED dvds off their web site and i estimate i ordered the majority of them....2 weeks ago? and just receiving some this week...so hopefully that lets you know a rough time estimate. Oh and i live in GA so that might also help...considering DVD Planet is based out of Itasca, IL

Don't blame DVDPlanet or any vendor. The problem is the Post Office: the small items are left for the local mail clerk to find room in the sacks that are taken to distribution points while on the other hand, the bigger boxes are sent to the addressee by a truck that only handles packages too large for the mailboxes- at least that's how it's done in large cities.
My DVDPlanet orders usually take one week at most to reach me in NYC.

That totally explains why I have about 7 movies that I ordered a week ago that have yet to have their status changed to 'shipped'.

And it's weird how other vendors seem to avoid these "Post Office" issues. I guess the USPS has it in for DVDplanet.

I had two DVDPlanet orders that shipped out the same day, but arrived about 10 days apart. Thought that one was weird.

I was just able to make 4 NEW orders with the same 2 credit cards i used a few weeks back. (initially, they had stopped me from getting the $10 off after i made my first orders)

I guess a few weeks have made a serious difference

I use www.spamgourmet.com since you can create email addresses on the fly for free. I think there are other similar services.

I'm sure this has been covered before, but didn't want to scroll through 19 pages. I received an "oops" msg. What does this mean?
