As far as I can tell, you only use one giftcard. I'm not sure if B&N let you consolidate giftcards in-store.

Hey can someone help me out here.
What is the deal with the 50% off thing?
If i want to get Seinfeld complete collection how do i do it?

I heard something about having to become a member for $25 or something.
Do i need to use a master card or something?

What happens if i live internationally? Is that okay?

Can you only get one box set or can you get 2 or 3 and get 50% off?

Any info would be great thanks!!

You must pay with a Mastercard (but you can partially pay with a gift card), and you can only get ONE item for 60% off their online price. As for internationally, you'll have to look it up on their website. I have no idea...

Anyone want to do me a huge favor and pre-order the X-Files set with their mastercard/b&n account? I will give you some extra money, that is just too good of a deal. I never thought only having a Visa would end biting me in the butt

I hardly check this thread, but checked the other day and saw the 50% off coupon.

bought The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones, Vol. 1
used a family member's membership account which they never use for the extra 10% off, and used the 50% off coupon. Total price with tax was $48.01, and had a $10 gc, so total became $38.01

Same with Stargate, now 10%. I knew that was gonna happen. I never expected it to rise back up. X-Files is still at 15% off. Doctor Who S3 is at 20%. I'll probably get Doctor Who...

Using someone else's account makes it so much sweeter! Nice!

You can only use the coupon once per account, and I guarantee everyone in here has used it already...

Here is a thread discussing options for getting a Virtual Mastercard, if that is an option you'd like to pursue:

This coupon expires at 2:59 a.m. Eastern Time on November 12, 2007."
I joined B&N to get this deal on-line. OK, used it online; got my DVDs already. Careful reading of the rules says you can also use it once in store. Do you need a coupon, or just the number?

Thanks, Phil

I kinda expect some of these 10-20% offs to go back up to atleast 20%, probably 30% though. 30% is the highest they go under normal day-to-day, not including member and coupon discounts. It will just be after the 50% coupon ends, though.

So I wrote a letter to B&N Customer service after the Ford set got its price jacked up in the two hours between my buying a membership and trying to purchase the set.

The message was rejected because I didn't include an order number. According to the online form the number isn't required so I'm not sure what the problem is. Since I didn't actually order the set I didn't have anything to put in that field.

I re-sent the message (using the order number for the purchase of my membership), but I haven't gotten a response yet...

And to top it off they raised the price yet again.

I get coupons from them all year long. Usually in email, but every couple of months in the mail. This is the first ridiculously good coupon though. Usually just 15% off...
