My Alien and Superman order arrived today.

The shipping department gets a A++ on this order. The five boxsets were placed on a stiff piece of cardboard and the entire order was than shrink wrapped. Everything arrived in immaculate condition.

I've continued to see you (and others) post requests for folks to e-mail Amazon asking for a price-match. Is this founded on some kind of documentation that Amazon will do this...perhaps something from their website? Or is it just a hunch that enough e-mails will persuade them to do so?

Personally, I don't see a lot of success coming from this effort. But again, maybe you know something I don't. Please don't take this as criticism, I'm just trying to understand why you think this approach will work.

i placed my order on 11/23 and all 3 of my items are in stock yet my shipping estimate is december 10th. fucking lame.

I've had many Amazon item arrive before that date on the website. Think of it as a worse case scenario.

I'm still seeing the SFU box still at $115 despite what was posted earlier.

I emailed Amazon and asked if they could refund the $9.50 difference between the sale price for Curb Your Enthusiasm Seasons 4 and 5 when I ordered it and the current sale price, and they did so the very next day.

I have had some ship earlier in recent weeks. But in recent months, if you order from Amazon with free shipping, they almost always sit on the order for a week or two, I assume they are doing that to push Prime, I guess free shipping was too efficient for them.

The Wire Season 1 is now 21.99 on Amazon. Keep emailing them, continue to demand more competitive pricing for their DVD sets.

Last week, I emailed them twice to see if they'd lower their price on some of their sets. By Saturday evening, Carnivale S2 was down to 19.99.

Now, the Wire S1 is lowered. As a rule, they don't price match, but I think consumer demand may persuade them otherwise.

Well, two things. One, it's the holidays. Expect delays. Second, there is a very good chance you'll get the item(s) you ordered before that date. I have on many occasions.
