There's a sweet glitch on the FYE website. I added the Beck set and the Fate/Stay set for $69.99(b1g1). When I entered my Backstage Pass, the site took 10% off of both titles, including the free one. So, the total cost for both sets is just $55.99 plus tax.



EDIT: It doesn't work. Even though the price shows up with the free set receiving a BS discount, the order won't go through at the lower price. I get an error message when I try to submit the order because I didn't use enough gift cards to cover the order. When I go back to my cart, the price jumped up and the free set no longer has the BS discount. Still a great deal.

I didn't have any problems earlier this afternoon. Try to pick the titles directly from the list and place in your cart. Maybe that will help.

It worked fine for me an hour ago. I hope that you are ordering other titles. I would forgo Hellsing 4(FYE B&M might have a good deal on the steelbook like they did for Volumes 2 and 3) for another $70 set. Some good sets that you could pair with Fate/Stay are-

Moonphase and Black Cat are currently OOS.

Maybe the problem that you are encountering is with Hellsing 4. Only the $24.99 standard edition is part of the BOGO sale. The Ltd Edition and steelbook do not qualify for the sale.

How would FYE ship my order if, say, it contained one instock item and one preorder? Would they hold the entire order till ready for shipping or do they ship what's currently in stock ?

They have done split shipments for my orders before (products with different release dates). I don't think it has changed since earlier this year.

Same for me. They always ship as each item becomes available. I had a 14 item order a few months back with many different release dates and they shipped every single one of the 14 as they were released.

One bad thing with FYE.com is its return policy for damaged products (either via transit or otherwise). They will only refund your purchase. They WILL NOT replace the damage products. They will just tell you to place another order online if you want another copy.

I think that was the problem. I wanted the LE. Oh Well. I can't find something from that list that I don't have that'd I would be interested in matching with the F/SN box. I think I might get the first two seasons of Slayers for 20$ a piece though.

True. However, considering their not so padded padded envelope packaging, I've had amazing luck with all of my FYE orders. If I ever got a crushed box, I would just go to the FYE at the mall and buy a good set from them and return the damaged set with that receipt for a refund.

Looks like Amazon may have received some of the Geneon overstock. Ergo Proxy Vol. 6 is only 11.49 and it says it in stock! Great deal for a finale to a great series!

Once the coupon works, I'll pick up Fantastic Children and Cowboy Bebop(Xmas gift for my brother) for $33.74 and Please Teacher and Please Twins for $26.99. I'm thinking about Gurren Lagann and Code Geass for $26.99. Any opinions on Lagann and Geass would be most welcomed. Thanks.

I think the first and second episodes of Geass are available free on demand for comcast. cutting edge, CN, adult or soemthign like that.

There are 16 different things I want from the Bandai B1G1 sale. I could easily spend 250 dollars. Damn, I have some decisions to make.

It seems the code works but if you have two items the exact same price it doesn't.
