My Blu-ray "Bottle Rocket" with T-shirt order is still open. Have they stopped canceling these pre-orders? OR are they somehow going to substitute the regular Criterion DVD for the Blu-ray one? Something doesn't add up. The regular Criterion DVD is being sold at a higher price than the Blu-ray version.

A Yes, out of stock items are included in the sale. As a matter of fact many popular items will go out of stock within the first 3 or 4 days of the sale, and will go on backorder. Even if the item doesn't ship until after the sale ends, you will still be charged the sale price.

Call them on Monday at 1-800-264-5076 and tell them what happened. They will email you a pre-paid mailing label to use to ship it back. Upon receipt, they will ship out the correct version.
I've done this a few times over the years, and it's always gone smoothly. The waiting is no fun, but they make it as easy as possible, and it doesn't cost you anything.

I got Batman animated series, newsradio series, and x-men trilogy.
I want more TV sets, but I think better sales can be had; and for a few of them i'll hold out for the "series" sets which will inevitably crop up.
I too have my eye on the I dream of Jeannie series set, but the price is a tad too high; dont they have B1G1F sales on those sets ?

Probably they do. The bottle was just too cool. And it was my favorite re-run show as a kid. I'd been tempted to just buy them on iTunes. I think season 2 is $20 on there. So I guess the deluxe looking set is really the main reason I am getting it.
