I would call customer service 1-800-CHRISTIAN.

They have excellent CSR's and will give you a return label as well as replace the broken sets.

Mine arrived today via UPS. Very well packed in a box just large enough for the 5 sets and a paper wad filler with no damage. I really like the way the sets are packaged in a double thick amaray type case with disks on non-overlapping "pages" and not a crappy digipak. Seasons 3-5 also had a paper sleeve. Seasons 1 and 2 did not have sleeves and I don't know if they ever did, but for the price I'm not complaining.

Thanks, I just followed the return instructions on the back of the invoice in the box. Already sent them back. Not going to lose any sleep over it. I am sure they will replace them. Just some extra effort to send them back.

I was surprised by the packaging because I already had Season One, which I got as a gift when it was first released a couple of years ago. The packaging on that was very different than the Season One sent by CB. The original was a box with four double disc slimcases inside for a total of 8 discs.

I'm not sure about any subsequent seasons, but at some point the company must have changed their packaging for the first season, perhaps to coincide with the release of later seasons in double amaray cases? I also wondered about the possibly missing paper sleeves for the first two seasons, but like you said, at this price, who's complaining?

I suspect that they repackaged the first two seasons, because they don't match the artwork that's up on Amazon. They may never have had paper sleeves since the other seasons had the sleeve underneath the shrinkwrap.

Personally, I think the new Season 1 & 2 designs are better that the original, and the whole series looks nice (and uniform) on a shelf.
