Thanks for the deal bwsmom. As others have mentioned in the past, wherehouse and secondspin appear to share the same inventory. The prices also appear to match most of the time, but I have noticed that sometimes their prices differ greatly for the same used item.

Both charge tax, so you may want to figure that into your pricing.

Hurm. All the Essential Art House versions due out in June are 13.97 down from list of 19.95. So, 11.18+tax.

I'll just save up for the full fledged versions though.

Yaay! I had a $0.46 credit and have been wanting to get that Lemony Snicket movie for my boy (we're reading through ALL of the books at bedtime right now). SS had it for $1 less than WH, plus the coupon... $2.96 shipped.

Wish I needed more DVDs, but that's all for me right now.

How often does Wherehouse offer a free shipping coupon? I neglected to get a few things during the sale and am now regretting it. They are new items so Secondspin doesn't carry them. I don't mind paying the full price for them as they are pretty cheap, I just don't want to pay the shipping as it would be a third or more of the items price.

Thanks. I'd forgotten about this coupon. I received the e-mail from Wherehouse due to their glitch a month or two ago.

I just tried it, but it only works on used items. Still, I decided to pick up one new and one used CD. The 20% off the used and free shipping was good enough.

They shipped out my pre-orders the Thursday before release date and I have always received them that Tuesday.

It's been a mixed bag for me. I've received a couple before the street date and others well after. Right now I'm still waiting to receive Martyrs which came out 4/28 (I pre-ordered on 4/18)...it finally shipped, but not until just yesterday. In the end, the prices have made up for the few late shipments.

I read that they cancelled pre-orders if they don't ship out within 5 days of release. I don't mind a little wait so long as I get it for the price I got it for at all. So, there is hope.
