Discussion of tampering with the url is frowned upon around here. This might be considered fraud by the mods. I'd delete your post to avoid trouble.

Wow, I can't believe this ended so quick. I actually just placed an order with 006118 a few hours ago! Definitely AFTER some of these posts say it died. But I just tried it again now, and it doesn't work. Guess I got lucky. I only placed one order and got $51 Funcash, after debating going for $141 in Funcash. I shoulda went for it. Oh well.

You slow, you blow

My orders have been charged to my CC and the funcash has been applied to my total.

That URL didn't work for me either. I wonder if it works for anyone who can't get it some other way?

I don't know if this will help people or was just random for me...

When I follow the link via my e-mail, it won't accept 006118. However, when I sign in via the main page, it accepts the code (and then I can go to the "YOHA YETAM" special promotion on the right-hand side).

I tried this with two of my accounts and it seems to work for me.

Bill, did you do anything special to get it to work? When I click on 'Looking for the offer in your mailing?' and enter the code , I can't get it to work.

Didn't work for me. By 'main page' do you mean www.columbiahouse.com?

Yeah, that is what I meant. That method still works for me, but going in via e-mail link still does not. Odd.

Thanks anyway, mbs and Bill (and the OP). My internet access was down from late Saturday until late Wednesday afternoon . Given the chance, I definitely would have jumped all over this deal as there are still many boxsets on my 'funcash wishlist'.

Update: 006118 is no longer working on my account - 3/24 AM

006118 worked early this afternoon, didn't work this evening, then worked about an hour ago on my account. Grabbed some dvds and a boxset for $100+ funcash after taking the afternoon to decide. The key for my account is:

1) Clear cookies and Temp internet files
2) Bypass the "Looking for the offer in your mailing?" link on the main CH welcome page and use the link on the AHOY MATEY page to enter the code.

If I log-in and enter the code at the main welcome page, the code doesn't work. If I got to the ahoy matey page and enter the code it, it still doesn't work.

So I log out, clear cookies, and delete temp internet files and log back in. This time I go to straight to the ahoy matey page via the link on the right side of the welcome page. From the main ahoy matey page if I enter the 006118 code after clicking on the "Looking for the offer in your mailing?" link, the code works. No url manipulation or other tricks. This is repeatable on my account. Maybe this will work on someone else's account too.

I managed to find some dvds that I actually wanted and would have eventually gotten via enrollment anyway. The way I look at it for an $11.48 dvd I paid $5.61 extra($11.48 - $5.87 LMT enrollment price) in order to get $18 in funcash. That's worth to me for a title I want.

I picked up BTTF box for $20.xx and 11 more at 50% off for approx $130 total, and got $216 in fun cash. The real cost will end up being less after I "parse out" my order. I had already picked out the box sets for my fun cash order (and let that determine how many I ordered this evening), and will end up placing a total fun cash order of $229 (after adding in my previously paltry total) for another $15 out of pocket. So for what will end up being around $100 out of pocket, I will end up with about 15 selections I wanted, including such sets as Freaks and Geeks, Gangster Collection, Red Dwarf, etc.

It took some figuring, but I couldn't pass it up even though I usually don't like placing such large orders. This is going to really clear out my box set want list.

Now I begin praying for a 40%-off box set sale during fun cash redemption. That would basically throw something like the Ultimate Matrix Collection on the fun cash order for no extra cost.

Thanks for posting this. I followed your method exactly, but no luck.

Then again, it never worked for me to begin with, so that isn't too suprising...

I was going to try this, but the YOHA YETAM link doesn't appear on either of my fulfilled accounts when I log in without following the email link.

After several successful tests last night this method is no longer working this morning. 006118 is officially dead to me. I've edited my original post to reflect this so as not to spread any more false hope.

how bout this, I wanted to fulfill with the gangsters collection 51.71 so it's worth two commitments. I couldn't get 9x funcash to work and the gangsters collection was only worth 4$ funcash or 12 with the triple funcash promotions. Thinking this should be 5$ fun cash and therefore 15 I was a bit annoyed. Then I noticed I had another promotion eligable, 5$ funcash with online orders of 35$ or more, but this wasn't showing up on the cart or checkout page. frustrated I called CH and just before a CSR picked up the automated message said, "ask about free shipping on all Thursdays in March". I explained the funcash situation to him and he told me I had another "special offer" which was I don't get triple funcash and online deal but I do get a raincheck for a 19.95$ title or less with no shipping or processing when I buy another title. mollified I took this offer, and then asked him about free shipping on Thursdays in March. He was quiet for about a minute verifying it and then said that, yes I was right and since it's free shipping on all orders over 50$ on Thursdays in March would I like to take advantage of that and still get the raincheck. He verified this, got my CC info and then I asked him if the raincheck would be in the order, and he said it'd be on the system and sent to me and I could call to verify it.

Pretty decent deal, I fulfilled the LMT account with a box set, saved 7$ on shippping and netted another free dvd, I'm happy.
7 dvds @ 13.82 on initial LMT + 6 dvds @ 55.46 (I think, can't remember precise change on the tax) on fulfillment + 1 free dvd = 14 titles @ 69.28 = 4.95 per dvd.

Adam

I checked today and my $216 in additional fun cash is there. I'm feeling better and better about not passing up buying a bunch of $9 and $10 DVDs and getting $18 in fun cash for each. Thanks very much to the OP for pointing out that this would work.

Edit: BTW, that would be poster mbs.

using both codes didn't work for me, but I got triple funcash on the following order:

Schindler's List 305640 Pending $6.95
Spy Game Collector's Edition 269460 Pending $5.95
Schindler's List 305640 Pending $6.95
Red Dragon Collector's Edition 279110 Pending $5.95

Subtotal $25.80

Shipping & Processing $0.00

Tax $0.00

Total $25.80

FunCash earned
$24
What's FunCash?

and I also got a $10 coupon of my next order by signing up for travel rewards (free for 30 days and then cancel over the phone before the 30 days have passed) or something (done that 10+ times in the past and used it when using funcash).

So, technically I got $24 funcash for a $25.80 order w/free shipping and when I use the funcash (I have $30) I get $10 back in the mail from travel rewards

Sorry you couldn't get the codes to combine. I had some trouble too, then they all of a sudden they worked again. Imagine how great you'd feel if you had gotten $72 fun cash for the same $26 order...though some of the prices were higher when combining the codes (Schindler was $8.95 for instance).
