I will not be ordering discounted titles.I need to buy 5 titles at full price with in the next 30 days,or my credit card will be charged.
I am thinking of getting 5 Miyazaki titles and am wondering how many titles of Castle in the Sky they will let me have.

I think it's 3 of their exclusives (and they will check past accounts) and 5 of everything else, so you should be OK.

When do they add new titles? I'd probably go for it if I could get Toy Story 3 and Fantasia...

Toy Story 3 is this month's featured selection. The down side is that DMC doesn't take the Disney manufacturer's coupons and they're priced higher than what you'll pay in stores. The up side is that they frequently offer exclusive lenticular cards (which can fetch $30 and up on eBay because of the limited production run of each one), as well as offering a bundle if you're so inclined. You're still probably better off buying the new stuff from another retailer, but if you're wanting to knock out your club obligation and get the new stuff at least it ships free (generally).

7:2 Bluray code - 14382

5 Blu-rays for $1
w/ bonus titles
1st $11.95 counts toward fulfillment
2nd $8.95
free shipping

I have a question about the blu-ray club, will all featured titles be blu-ray? For example with this months Christmas Carol it shows being a dvd but is that only because it is my preferred format right now?

So far as I know, you can't. You'll have to place five separate orders. The logic appears to be that you'll resent paying full price and shipping for five different individual titles, so you'll add some discounted titles with them to feel better about the five transactions.

There used to be a way to look at all offers for your account and either change to a different one (if available) or remove any offer. I cancelled my membership a while back so can't check to be 100% sure.

Another way is to simply call it in. From what I've read in past posts they can do this on phone orders easily. Just tell them what you are wanting to do.

Click on SPECIAL OFFERS on the front page, then scroll down to OTHER OFFERS.

This will take you to all the available offers, including the one your looking for.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Anyone know If I could exchange my enrollment Alice in Wonderland 1 disc blu-ray for the combo pack which is only $3 more. The combo wasn't offered as an enrollment title but was curious if they might let me exchange for the difference in price? Do they only let you exchange enrollment titles for other current enrollments? Thanks in advance.

Would it be worth the $3, plus two-way shipping? If so, give them a call. The worse they could do is say no.

(OK, the worse they could do is laugh at you and say no, but who cares, right?)

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

I did not realize that they have free shipping till tonight (25-26 only) so I got some Miyazaki since I have B1G%60 off. (VIP) I might place another small order for couple of Walt Disney Treasures but I am not sure if they are Collector's Tin or not. Does anybody know if all WDT titles they are selling are collector's tin edition?

I was an idiot and missed getting the Zorro sets and now I'm stuck either buying expensive or hoping for a stroke of luck and find a set somewhere.

It's not a bad way to clean up the required purchases since these are never much cheaper anyway.
Thanks a lot. Good to know that one comes in Collector's Tin. I was going to order that but did not know if it was Collector's Tin or not.

I missed on Zorro sets too and I have only myself to blame for that.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Almost Angels is apparently being released as DMC Exclusive on December 14. That is very encouraging news as DMC Exclusive releases, especially for older live-action titles, had virtually ground to a halt (I think the last older live-action DMC Exclusive release was Tonka).

I don't want to get overly optimistic, but perhaps DMC Exclusive releases for the following films might be in the pipeline for 2011:

The Light in the Forest (it is currently available for sale via Disney Educational Products for $29.99, but a DMC Excluisve release for a cheaper price would be preferable)

The Prince and the Pauper (starring Sean Scully and Guy Williams)

The Sword and the Rose (starring Richard Todd and Glynis Johns)

The Sign of Zorro (a theatrical film culled from episodes from the Zorro television show)

Zorro the Avenger (a theatrical film culled from episodes from the Zorro television show)

Plus I would love to see the various series from the Disneyland anthology show (in its various incarnations) such as:

Texas John Slaughter (the complete series of 17 episodes)

Daniel Boone (the complete series of 4 episodes; starring Dewey Martin)

Elfego Baca (the complete series of 10 episodes; some episodes were released on Walt Disney Treasures: Legendary Heroes)

The Swamp Fox (the complete series of 8 episodes; some episodes were released on Walt Disney Treasures: Legendary Heroes)

The Saga of Andy Burnett (the complete series of 6 episodes)

The New Adventures of Davy Crockett (the complete series of 5 episodes; starring Tim Dunigan)

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Just bought Waking Sleeping Beauty, El Grupo, and The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story from the Disney Movie Club for $47.02 (includes $4.18 CA tax). Cheaper than the current Amazon price of $61.47. I have satisfied my commitment so my offer was buy one title ($19.99) and get additional titles at 60% off ($7.98 for the other two) plus $6.93 S/H. The flyer I received in the mail said each comes with a lithograph (I think lithographs might come with these regardless of where you buy them). For those who haven't satisfied their commitment, they have a set of all three movies for 39.95 plus the same $6.93 S/H, still better than Amazon.

Edit (12/16/10): Could have saved some money. My new offer is 50% off plus free S/H. $19.99 for first title, $9.98 for other two. Total of about $40 for all three.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

The Sword and the Rose is being released as a DMC Exclusive along with Almost Angels tomorrow (Tuesday December 14th)!

This is great news and I hope is a signal that the DMC Exclusives pipeline could get flowing again in 2011!

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

Well I finally bit the bullet and joined DMC. Got 7 titles for $25.90 with code 978283. To complete the commitment I'll pick up these two exclusives at separate times ...

Kim Possible: The Complete First Season
Kim Possible: The Complete Second Season

... sometime next year.

Disney sent me a "Welcome" letter today that came with two sheets of Disney stickers. Most of the titles I bought come with DMR points which equals even more Disney DVDs! As long as the online option to cancel "say no" to their offers works I am fine with this deal.

Welcome to the Club, DarkRavenII! I turn down the featured title every month via the Club website (I joined the Club primarily for their Exclusives) and I have never had a problem with that.

Re: Disney Movie Club part 5

I was wondering if you cancel your membership, are you able to re-apply? If yes, are you able to purchase through a code or are those only for first time users? Thanks.

Yes, you can re-apply, and yes, you should be able to use the same code.
