Polk R10 bookshelfs (rear)
Aiwa 35-watt subwoofer
Ok theyre not matched, but still sounds good.
As you can tell, I need a new subwoofer, BAD.

Hey allright another Monitor owner. These are great speakers. Absolutely crystal. I would highly recommend you stick with Monitors all around and pick up the ASW210. This sub is so fast and accurate and the two 10" thump really hard. It will make your 5s and 3s shine even more!!

Sonus Faber Concerto Grand Piano (front)
Sonus Faber Solo (center)
Polk Audio Monitor 4 (rears)
HSU Research TN1225HO (sub)
I just can't bring myself to spend the $$$ to upgrade to Sonus rears...designed for music first, HT second (gasp).

Re: What home theater speakers - Mixing JBL with Dynaudio center channel?
I have some JBL L-166 speakers, and have inherited a pair of JBL L-19 bookshelf speakers and a Dynaudio Audience C120+ Center Channel Speaker, and Polk subwoofer. I’m thinking of combining these to use for a home theater system.
Individually the Dynaudio center channel gets great reviews, and I have long enjoyed the sound from my JBL-L166s. I am wondering if they would still sound great together (or should I sell the dynaudio to get a JBL center channel)? Any thoughts or advice?
Best,
Michael

Re: What home theater speakers do you use right now?
A 19 year old thread resurrected....that has to be a record. And at least it’s on topic.
Honestly, speakers are so subjective, I had such a hard time picking the ones I really liked. I settled on SVS, and they’ve been quite good for my home theater.
Regarding yours, just give it a shot and see how they sound to you. If they sound great, then it was the right move.

VIZIO SB36512-F6 5.1.2-Channel Dolby Atmos Sound Bar
Never thought a soundbar would sound so great...it's worlds better than my old 5.1 individual speaker setup.

Re: What home theater speakers do you use right now?
Most of the speakers I'm using I've had for nearly 15 years:
- Axiom Millenia M60ti floorstanding mains
- Axiom VP100 center
- Axiom QS8 surrounds (on stands that accomodate the quadpolar configuration)
- Axiom EP350 subwoofer

We're using a pair of Sony floor-standing speakers connected to an Onkyo stereo receiver. Considering picking up a 2nd pair of floor-standing speakers to add a little fullness to the sound (if I can find a good pair on the cheap).

Thankfully, the prices being so stratospheric right now plus HDMI 2.1 not being a thing quite yet are throttling the urge to upgrade. Plus I’d still have to buy a bunch of new speakers and stuff.
But yeah, I’d definitely like to! I’ll say it’s the plan and just assume I’ll find the money somehow between now and then.

We still use the Onkyo SKS-HT540 7.1 Channel speaker system we picked up in 2010. Paired it with an Onkyo TX-SR608 7.2-Channel receiver until last year when we went 4K with a new Onkyo TX-NR676 7.2 Channel receiver. They sound incredible, but they are physically gigantic speaker boxes, too big for our space, really. I wish I'd thought that through better. But again, the sound is there.

I have a Klipsch 5 speaker system, floor standing fronts, picked up around 10 years ago. The .1 is a JBL 10" I got off of Overstock something like 15 years ago. I believe it was even posted on this site as a good deal. They are connected to an Onkyo 7.1 receiver, which I think was also posted on this site as a good deal.
