Any news on 'ANIMANIACS' coming to DVD?

With Warner really pushing animation releases lately and the excellent sales of Looney Tunes DVDs, would this mean that the 'ANIMANICS' will show up soon?

As it has got to be THE funniest cartoon series made in the 1990s all in the spirit of the golden age of animation!!

Anyone hear anything?

Thanks!

though I would love to see a season set, I'm sure if we ever do get anything it will be "best of.." box sets.

In the spirit of it, friend. Character and personality design, etc.

I wouldn't mind a best-of, to be honest. There were a lot of below-average moments on the show (Rita & Runt, anyone?) that I feel are best left as memories.

rita and runt were the only skits I didn't care for, the rest was great if you ask me. I don't mind sitting through 5 minutes of R&R if it means I get everything else.

I agree about Rita and Runt. Animaniacs episodes were 20 minutes of solid WB comedy and five minutes of godawful singing.

I haven't heard any news of Animaniacs getting released, but I have heard a rumor about Tiny Toons. I stress the word, rumor, though.

They can keep Tiny Toons in the vault for all I care. Give me Animaniacs and PatB. The music alone would be worth it for me, The Anvil Song, Cheese Roll Call(poit!, troz!), Monkey Song ...
IMHO, all of it was Termite Terrace quality (Ok maybe not Rita and Runt). PatB and Animaniacs would proudly sit next to WB Golden Collection and Rocky and Bullwinkle in my collection.

Ah...such a wonderful show. Hopefully we will see these on DVD someday. So many good memories with that show.

Yes, season sets of Animaniacs please! While they are at it, WB need to release season box sets of Batman!

I wonder if there was a story behind Rita & Runt; they didn't seem to quite fit in. My friend suspects that somebody was looking for a singing break.

Bernadette Peters did the voice of Rita so I don't think her singing career needed help. If both Tiny Toons and Animaniacs season sets came to DVD I'd be happy. I'd be even happier if WB released those Batman season sets first.

The Digital Bits said a while back in the Rumor Mill that both Tiny toons and Anaimaiacs are coming to DVD.
