Wow, there's absolutely no excuse for a major studio releasing a non-anamorphic transfer at this point.

No sale.

According to www.dvdcompare.net the Thailand R3 is NTSC, but the Korean R3, which I believe is PAL

With the poor reviews and lack of B&M sales i'll be passing for now. I'll wait for a price drop, or get a different region dvd.

Gees, when I first saw this thread, I ignored it because I thought it was referring to the old non-anamorphic version. Little did I know it was the new SE I was planning on getting. Buena Vista HV really sucks! First Ed Wood, then a non anamorphic release in 2004! Pathetic.

I am shocked that they didn't do a new transfer. I picked up Splash, but Ransom is a no go!
