New FRIENDS releases - Are they worth it?

FRIENDS was the first series I ever completed on DVD, so you can imagine how long its been since I've bought them. I recently discovered the new, more-compact, standard dvd case releases for the show, and absolutely loved the way they looked.

However, I was curious if they contained a booklet with all the episode titles, airdates, pictures, and summaries for the episodes that we got in the Digipak releases...

Can anyone who has the newer sets maybe review them a little bit or have pictures of the INSIDE of the sets? Since a Blu-ray release seems to all be a bunch of gossip and rumors, I'm considering selling my old sets and buying these new, more-compact ones.

WHV has indicated plans for Season 1 of Friends on Blu-ray. Granted, that sounds like a horrible idea to many -- ideally they should put out the entire series in High Definition at once.

I don't own the thin-case editions but I can tell you from experience with owning other show's in those editions they usually lose the detailed episode information and don't come with guides/inserts/etc.

upgrading to friends on HD is a waste of $.. upgrading to the thinner cases would be an even more waste of $. If you already have them on dvd.. why rebuy them on dvd? It doesn't make sense other than to conserve a little bit of space.

..... and if you just want to conserve space, then just buy some standard size cases (14 mm) and download the covers from r1db.com...

Yes, I own some newer slim versions of other TV Shows on DVD from Warner Home Video and they include the episode guide booklet.
