my recollection's a little vague so please correct me if i'm wrong, but this is what i remember. there were several versions of this dvd:
* cd-sized jewel case version (meant as an industry promo only)
* cd-sized cardboard slipcover version (all 5 episodes of Season 1)
* cd-sized cardboard slipcover version (minus the Forest Whitaker episode due to contract dispute)
* dvd-sized keepcase Collector Edition (final version, with all of Season 1 & 2; by then the dispute was hammered out)
* cd-sized jewel case version (meant as an industry promo only)
* cd-sized cardboard slipcover version (all 5 episodes of Season 1)
* cd-sized cardboard slipcover version (minus the Forest Whitaker episode due to contract dispute)
* dvd-sized keepcase Collector Edition (final version, with all of Season 1 & 2; by then the dispute was hammered out)

It's just a change in distributors, as I mentioned. It'll be like how the 2 Disc SE of "Fight Club" went OOP only to reappear a few months later. There doesn't seem to be any actual delay in the production of the line, albeit merged, as "Lady Vengeance" is still on tap.
