Say you have four titles, A, B, C, and D arguably on the same theme. You box A & B together and C & D together, but people who already had A or don't like it won't buy the set. Then later you box A & C and B & D ( or A & E and B & F) and you make more sales.
The Halloween movies are never going away on DVD but they may be repackaged into 3 or 4 or 5 movie sets to boost sales.

FYI, Universal titles often go OOP and then turn up months later. I think they actually produce smaller amounts of their films on DVD, compared to other studios.
However, Psycho, Vertigo, and Rear Window all scream to me that the Legacy releases are coming soon, since these titles were the only ones not re-released when the Masterpiece boxset came out.
