Forget the Circuit City disc! It only has trailers for other movies! Non-Saw related!

Dane Cook's Tourgasm with Best Buy bonus disc

Dane Cook's Tourgasm with Best Buy bonus disc is now on sale (clearance?).

The 3/4 DVD set was $27 when it came out a few weeks ago, but stocked has barely moved at all my local BBs.

It was priced at 9.99 tonight.

Beastie Boys Awesome I Shot That w/ BB bonus DVD

Back before I became even more ocd about these exclusive discs, I purposely skipped buying Beastie Boys Awesome I Shot That, which had a bonus disc at Best Buy. It was $30 when it first came out if I recall.

Tonight, on a whim, I took it to the register just to see if it was still full price.

It had been marked down to $19.99 on the sticker, but rang up $9.99.

Hmm...I wonder if it's that price at mine (it still shows $25 on BB.com). My fiance would probably try it out for $9.99...but no more than that

Do all of you have OCD?! I mean you can't possibly want every single bonus or exclusive! I pass up movies all the time because they are shit! Just because it has the bonus disc doesn't make it worth buying!

Yes, I have some sort of ocd and/or hoarding behavior.

It's either bonus discs or crack. I choose bonus discs.

Thanks for the heads up.

I was able to pick up a copy at lunch today, they must have had at least 10 of them and it was stickered $24.99.

I did not check the Tourgasm one since I had already watched the show.

You might want to post this in the bargains section as well.

I totally agree with you Cameron. A lot of things about DVDAf are starting to piss me off. They reject all the exclusives I submit, regardless of the explanation I include with it, and it takes forever for them to get pictures up, etc.

By the way, any luck getting up the Over the Hedge and Ice Age 2 Blockbuster tins?

It is a movie that you can buy elsewhere, but it is "free" at Walmart when you buy it in this package with Crank, and it is in a different Walmart-only case with no UPC code.

But inside the case, it is probably the exact same DVD that you can buy anywhere.

Anyone have any news on tomorrow's exclusives? I'll check Speedys threads for BB, CC, and Target, but need help with TWEC stores, Walmart, or any others.

The explanation I got about DVDaf is that the previous owner was accepting stand-alone discs of bonus stuff and the new owner does not want them, so they are no longer accepting them.

The only ones they will accept are ones that have their own cover art (i.e. Wal-Mart 2-pack bonus discs, etc.) or ones that have unique features on them that are listed on (and therefore able to be liked to) imdb (i.e. additional short films, documentaries, etc).

Tins they would normally only accept if either the cover art is different, content is different or they have their own unique UPC.

They also stated that until they get the new version of their software up and running, once something is in the database, they cannot delete it. This will changed once the new software is running, and they will remove older bonus discs that do not fit the current criteria.

Also, they advised that they have 3 people with separate full-time jobs running the site currently (for updates), and the pic updates are being done by one guy currently who has about 400 back-logged pics to review, resize and post.
