I'm desperately looking for info on the 3-disc Flags of Our Fathers from Target - such as packaging info - is it an extra amaray case packaged with the 2-disc or is it exclusive packaging? Any help or even pics would be greatly appreciated.

btw - Just picked up an FYE exclusive - Letters from Iwo Jima 3-disc w/soundtrack - exclusive digipack box with cover. Matches Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby releases. Nice!

The Target version had all 3 discs in a single case, no insert.

The Target version is the same packaging as the standard two disc version right down to the slipcase. There are stickers on the slipcase to let you know the bonus disc is inside, and of course, it's a litte heavier.

Just as an FYI, Blockbuster has a rental exclusive on Hannibal Rising. The rental version contains 5 more exclusive deleted scenes. I've marked all of the deleted scenes below and the ones marked with an asterisk (*) are the ones exclusive to the rental copy at Blockbuster:

For you fans of Ghost Rider, next week will either involve some hard choices or empty wallets as four different retailers have exclusives. Here's the rundown:

Best Buy: Free Visual Guide Book.

Circuit City: 3-Disc Extended Edition includes a bonus disc with 30 minutes of exclusive features.

Target: 2-Disc Widescreen Deluxe Edition, no word on what it contains though.

Wal-Mart: Despite earlier reports, it appears that the bonus disc WILL be included with the standard widescreen edition as well as the standard full screen edition. Still no word as to if the 2-Disc Extended Cut will get the exclusive as well. The exclusive content will be a bonus disc with over 20 minutes of exclusive featurettes, 3 cellphone wallpaper images, a unique lenticular cover, and an official Ghost Rider bandana.

I'm hoping that the Target edition is just packaging, or maybe just describing the normal 2 disc deluxe version.
I'll then buy it at both WM and CC, re-gifting the un-opened WM movie half of the bundle.

I've enjoyed the break the last few weeks, not too many exclusives to "have" to buy.

Made a couple minor edits to this week's list. Has anyone been to WM yet?

Based on the front cover artwork I've seen for it, it is different from the standard front cover artwork for the regular 2-Disc Extended Edition.

This is really misleading...LOL!!! From the packaging it seems like there is a lenticular cover the same size as the dvd case. But really it's ONLY the very small one taped to the outside of the box and not a "full sized" version.

I posted this in the bargains section as well about the Ghost Rider set at CC:

"Picked up the one at Circuit City. Basically it is the deluxe edition and a slimpack case (to hold the bonus disc) housed within an outer box. Contents of the bonus disc included a featurette on Sideshow Collectibles design of statues, the 2005 Comic Con panel, and the 2006 Comic Con panel. I don't know how long any of them are (or if the panel pieces include the whole presentation), but it seems pretty solid for a bonus disc."

I have no idea. My guess would be that it's some sort of B&M retailer. Anyway, the info about the exclusives was posted on the gotohellboy website.
