Congrats!! Umm, on watching all your DVDs, that is, not on being broke.

Well I'm not completely at zero, but I finished watching all my individual titles. I still have some from the Hitchcock, Superman, and of course, Friday the 13th sets.

I'm surprised that people are actually happy that they are at zero unwatched DVDs. Granted, I want to be better than 600 unwatched titles, but half of the fun of picking out something to watch is grabbing a movie or TV show that I haven't seen before or viewed on DVD yet. I would find it depressing to look over my titles and be forced to pick something out that I had already viewed.

I was hoping not to see this thread...one of my TRSI orders came in yet. Sigh...Then again, I haven't added them to Profiler yet, so it doesn't count, does it?

Not sure if you are actually asking a question or not, but I always put my DVD's in DVD Profiler according to the day I bought them. So, if I bought a pre-order 3 months before it comes out, the purchase date counts as the day I bought it, not when I get it.

Kind of a weak month for me. Only got to mark off 3. Problem is, I'm working through a season of NYPD: Blue, Stargate: SG-1, and Stargate: Atlantis. TV shows are a bitch.

Same here. I think I only got 7 or 8 watched this month. I've been going back and re-watching Babylon 5, so that has taken up quite a bit of time. I've also been trying to catch up on finishing up the special features on some discs.

Mostly a rhetorical question (like, How can I be overdrawn, I still have checks left?). But that's interesting. I don't put something in till I have it in my house...mostly because I usually enter by UPC and I don't know the UPC (definitively) till it's home.

Yeah, TV series and box sets are definitely slow to check off. I am trying to balance it with smaller, 2-4 disk sets or individual disks, but it also depends on what I'm in the mood to watch.

One of the reasons I do it that way is because I don't immediately run to DVD Profiler and put in my DVDs right away when I get them, I may wait a day or two (or a week or two.) By the time I actually get around to it, I have no idea when they actually arrived at the house.

The big reason, though, is that if I, say, bought 20 DVD's on 1 order, I may get 15 on one day and then piecemeal from then on. I like to track how many I bought at one time, which is not reflected if I were to put them in when I get them.

To address your observation about UPCs. What I do is either:
a. Wait until I get them, put in the actual UPC, but put the purchase date at the day I bought it.
b. Put it in the ordered list and verify the UPC before I move it to my owned list. If it's not the right UPC, well, all the data is already there for me to copy over. I'd say I'm about 80% picking the right UPC.

At least I'm not this particular about most other things!
