it's funny, i totally forgot this was numbered and didn't even check the bottoms of the few at BB. i ordered this through Amazon as well and was so tempted to open it up just to check the #, but then i couldn't return to sender as is for refund. oh well, hope it wasn't a low one. now i will never know and hope it won't drive me mad!!!!!!

I wonder if our poor history of bootlegging might play into the numbers this country received (not that Australia doesn't have it's own issues, like any other country). I'm sure it's only a matter of days, but more likely hours, before "briefcaseless" but otherwise complete versions of this set show up in all the usual pirate haunts. Incidentally, the Canadian standard edition cases are numbered to 10,000 here. Considering we've one-tenth the population of the U.S., that number is appropriate.

I only bought the briefcase for the Workprint, which I've been dying to see ever since I first heard of it years ago. I'm pretty pleased with the packaging and goodies though. The lenticular paperweight is nifty and so is the unicorn.

I think you are right. The highest SD case I have seen was in the 72,000 range. HD and BR have all been above 77,000.
