I pick up my steelbook from FYE and watch it last night. Great movie!! I thought that Iron Man bringing up the menu system when I starting up the DVD was way cool.

I just grabbed the 2-disc SE. Don't have BR yet, and the Target mask just looked kinda weak. I almost bought the set with the bust, but even that bust looked crappy. I actually prefer the cover art for the 2-disc over all the rest.

I thought the same thing about the bust. But, when I got it home and took it out of the box, it was anything but crappy. Well made, sturdy, heavy and real nice.

I also have no understanding of people that can shop hop every Tuesday...There were people waiting for Best Buy to open at 10 already there at 7 when I left for work this am...That and the realization I never watch a movie twice have cut my store visits way down to almost nothing...

I grabbed the Target mask version with a gift card and I'm just happy to have the movie! Still mourning the commentary though.

Some of those guys are probably hoarders/resellers, who either do this as a job or have some night job. You should see the hot wheels guys outside of target. Just be glad you don't collect toys. I, myself, went in at 8:10am or so to Target to pick up the Blu-ray special case.

7am does seem really early for this, though. Was there something else coming out today?

i think it is just the production where the front is written correct and the inside is just the indentation of writing pressed in front.

Yeah, I think you're right. It seems so obvious now, lol. But that makes me feel better.

Around here, I don't think it's too hard with lots of stores and plazas around and near each other. I probably could have easily went to Target, Best Buy, Blockbuster, Circuit City, and Costco in 30 minutes or so if I really wanted to.

I went to my local FYE today and picked up the steelbook. Can't wait to watch it. But I got a deal where I traded in three used DVDs and got it marked down from $26.99 to just $9.99. Plus I got the $7 mail-in rebate offer on top of that.

Wow, I didn't know about that deal. Really wish I had done that. Is that a common deal or is it for new releases or what?

Went to Target yesterday and picked up the SD 2-disc Mask along with Forgetting Sarah Marshall 3-disc.

I was amazed when I swung by Best Buy today and discovered all their 2-disc editions (Blu and SD) were sold out. They still had plenty of the $14.99 1-disc.

Well my excuse is Tuesday is a day off my night job, so its easy to go pick up first day releases.

Except yesterday of course. When I was just too damn lazy to go out early so I stayed in bed didn't make it to the store til after 6PM.

I knew it was a long shot, but I went to Target anyway. It was quite literally picked clean. The display was empty except for two single disk copies.
Fortunately theres a mall across the street with an FYE. God bless'em they still had plenty of steelbooks left, so thats what I brought home (along with a couple of $7 Godzilla flix and an ALIEN figure. Whoo!)

Great movie, great extras! Impressive deleted scenes, probably one of the better 'making of' docs, and I found out more about the comic than I'll ever want to know.

Can someone tell me what the conditions are for the sideshow GC. Someone said its only good for certain items.

I'm trying to decide what to do with the boxset I have. I have settled on the steelbook but not sure If I should just return the boxset or keep the bust and giftcard and gift the DVD.

And I don't know why people are complaining about the bust being small. I think it is big enough. I'd rather not have a lifesize iron man head. This is much easier to keep and display, just not sure if it is worth the price of admission.

I also got the Steelbook Exclusive of Iron Man this week. And I have to say it's the best Exclusive for the release. I did get the Target head case in Blu-Ray, but that Steelbook has my friends really wanting it. Good for you...

New releases. He mentioned two others, but I only remember Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

May I please request someone to post the front/back cover art (slipcover removed) of the regular release 2-Disc SD version? Would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

This is true for every GC I've received from Sideshow. There's a page that will show you all the choices you'll have. IMO, there are some nice pieces you can choose from. Shipping isn't cheap with Sideshow, so the GC would probably help cover that.

Also, I believe the GC is probably good until the end of the year. These ones for Iron Man might go for longer. The GC page will give all that info when you log it in.

I the Best Buy in my area got in 92 BDs and all were sold out Tuesday. The two-disc SE went pretty good, by Thursday all gone. Plenty of one discers though.
