If you could only bring 1 DVD (set) to a deserted island?

In any case, I wouldn't pick a Blu-ray release simply for fear that the deserted island wouldn't have a crazy awesome home theater setup laying around. A DVD player and TV seems to already be pushing it. I mean... deserted? Who leaves TV sets and DVD players behind?

I want to say The Sopranos. However, would I want drama for the rest of my life? I may want something more along the lines of Get Smart.

I'd go with Naruto Uncut Complete Box Set (Vol 1-10 Box Sets) - AMAZON EXCLUSIVE. I'm a sucker for that series. I have a feeling anything would get boring after a few years though.
MAYBE Alfred Hitchcock - The Masterpiece Collection.

Probably my Planet of the Apes collection in the Cornelius bust
Not the biggest fan of the series, but at least I'd have someone to talk to...

Even though I have electricity I would take a DVD filled with survival and hunting tips, something on wood carving or wood building, and plenty of ebooks to read, including comics and manga in either pdf or cbr. I would also have plenty of porn in there in case there were no women I could approach in said island.

Great thread Scott. Love the Man vs Wild and Cornelius head answers.
For me, it would have to be a movie box set. As great as some of these TV sets are, they would all get old after a few months as even the shows that one could claim as "varied" are still pretty much all the same. I'd need a movie boxset representing a wide range of actors and genres.
Maybe that huge Universal box. Or the Murnau Borzage and Fox set.

Do sets count? I would take the Superman Ultimate Collection as that should last me long enough (with extras and behind the scenes material) until I decide to leave/get rescued.

I think I'll go with the Twilight Zone: Complete Definitive Collection if only because I love what I have seen of the show but have missed out on a ton of episodes. The set is on it's way to me right now so I might as well enjoy it.

Taking the Twilight Zone to a desert island is a mistake. You'd be all excited about having it to watch and suddenly your glasses would break.
