May is just a couple of days away, so it's time, once again, to take a look at your dusty, unopened box sets, your unwatched stacks of Blu-rays, DVDs, HD-DVDs, LDs, VHS or Beta tapes, your DVR, your Netflix queue, etc., etc., and decide what you think you should spend 31 days watching. Now's your chance to finally watch all the stuff that didn't fit, or that you just didn't get around to, during the other Challenges.
Since you choose your own Challenge theme, you make the rules.
There are however a few guidelines which everyone should follow.
Challenge Guidelines:
The Challenge runs from May 1 through May 31.
Sure, you can do your May MYOC in September if you want, but the list thread will only be stickied during May, so if you want anyone else to see what you're up to, please try to do it near those dates.
Please state your challenge theme and your challenge goal and rules (if any) at the top of your list(s) in the list thread so others can tell what you're doing.
Please don't duplicate an existing "Official" DVD Talk Challenge.
This guideline is mainly here so we don't subtract from participation in any of the other Challenges, and to encourage participants to focus on genres not already covered by a Challenge, but since everyone's "need to watch" list is different, and you're able to watch stuff that qualifies for one or more of the other Challenges during every other Challenge, you're free to narrow the focus of one of the broader "Official" Challenges.
For example; Say you only collect horror, then you could make your Challenge to watch just horror films, or just horror TV shows, or just zombie films, etc. Or if you have lots of unwatched Sci-Fi, then your MYOC could be just watch Sci-Fi movies, or watch Star Trek shows, or watch TOS, etc.
Since we already have Monthly "Unwatched Media Pile" Threads, please do not use that as a theme.
During past MYOCs, people weren't happy with this being used as a theme, and I tend to agree that it is a little lazy. So how about giving a little thought to the theme and coming up with something a little more creative, please?

1) Speed Crazy (1959) - Coca-Cola sign on wall in diner around 14 minutes into the movie.
I cheated a little with this one. I saw the scene with the Coke sign Sunday when I watched The Movie Orgy. It was a good thing I did too, because the copy of this I watched was so washed out that I probably would've missed it if I hadn't known it was there.
2) Are You Ready for Marriage? (1950) - Coca-Cola sign on wall in malt shop 2 minutes in. Then again near the end.
3) Death Wish (1974) - "Have a Coke" fountain machine & Coca-Cola on menu board inside diner, then a Coca-Cola sign outside the diner just past 1 hour mark. A different Coca-Cola sign across street about a minute later.
4) Death Wish II (1982) - Coca-Cola sign outside slum cafe around 26 minutes in. Then again at about 54 minutes.
5) Death Wish 3 (1985) - Coke machine in police station @ 9 and 13 minutes. Coca-Cola sign in store window @ 31 minutes & again @ 1 hour 22 minutes.
Week 2 (5/8 - 5/14)
6) Peddlin' Safety (1974) - Coca-Cola sponsored store sign @ 8 minutes.
7) The Fate of the Furious (2017) - 5 minutes in, Vin Diesel uses the tab from his cousin's Coke can to trick out his car before the big pre-credits race. Plus there's a Coca-Cola billboard @ 1 hour 5 minutes, then Michelle Rodríguez is sitting next to a bottle of Coke almost exactly an hour after that (surprisingly, I didn't see a thank you to Coca-Cola in the end credits, so maybe it wasn't product placement).
8) Back To Back (1989) - Coke machine outside motel 30 minutes in, then Apollonia retrieves two bottles of coke from the back seat of the car around 26 minutes later. Coke sign inside gas station @ 1 hour, and another hard to see coca-cola sign and machine outside the same station a few minutes later.
9) Terror in the Swamp (1985) - Coke cans around 25 and 45 minutes. Local Coca-Cola bottler thanked in end credits.
Week 3 (5/15 - 5/21)
10) Dragnet S02E28: "The Big Hands" - While questioning a suspect at a carnival, the man offers Friday and his partner a "cool drink" from his cooler. They say no thanks, then he gets one for himself (although he never said what kind of drinks he had, the distinctive bottle identifies it as a Coke).
11) Dragnet S04E12: "The Big New Year" - Coca Cola sign outside a business near the end of the episode.
12) On the Run (1956) - A few Coke bottles here and there in the malt shop scenes (around 12 & 14 minutes) and a large Coca Cola billboard @20 minutes.
13) The Health-Wreckers (1974) - In the first minute of the short, the narrator says we can fill our bodies with "a lot of things that aren't too good for them, and still not seriously damage our health," and the accompanying montage of people eating junk food ends with a kid drinking a Coke.
14) Sno-Line (Texas Godfather) (1985) - "Drink Coca-Cola" sign at about 1 hour 15 minutes.
15) Ritual (1977) - Coca-Cola sign on a Japanese parade float.
16) Shadows (1958) - Coca-Cola signs at 7 minutes, and 20 minutes, and 2 neon Coca-Cola signs at the end of the movie.
17) The Answer is Understanding (1971) - Large Coca-Cola signs @11 minutes and @19 minutes.
18) Drug Talk (Drug Talk: Some Current Drug Programs) (1971) - A Coca-Cola matchbook is on screen for a couple seconds during the first minute of the film.

20) The Distant Drummer: A Movable Scene (1970) - The same shot of the Coca-Cola sign in London shown 11 minutes into The Answer is Understanding is shown 11 minutes into this one (lots of other footage, and dialogue, from this film was reused in that one).

23) Murphy's Law (1986) - A Coca-Cola sign during the opening credits, 35 seconds into the movie, and that same sign pops up in the background a few times during the first couple of minutes of the film. Coca-Cola "It's the Real Thing" sign @ 55 minutes, and a Coke cooler in a closed grocery store in the background about a minute later. Coke machine in sleazy hotel lobby @ 1 hour 15 minutes.
24) Men at Work (1990) - Coca-Cola sign and thermometer in diner @ 30 minutes. Cokes in refrigerator @ 42 minutes. Coke sign and fountain at ice cream shop @ 1 hour 5 minutes.
25) The Six Billion $$$ Sell (1976) - After teasing me with clips from a couple of Pepsi commercials, a few Coke bottles finally show up, about 13 and a half minutes in, on an endcap behind a woman looking at soft drinks.
26) Let’s Go Collegiate (1941) - 16 minutes in, Mantan Moreland sneaks into the kitchen and passes about a dozen bottles of Coke that are sitting on a counter, then in a subsequent scene (about 6 minutes later), the big guy places an empty Coca-Cola bottle on a table alongside eight other empties and asks for another.

Rules:
- This is a scavenger hunt challenge. Any film is eligible, but films will only be listed if I spot something Coca-Cola related in it.
- Any film (of any length) with Coca-Cola anywhere in it (signs, bottles, cans, cups, machines, whatever) counts and can be listed.
- If I post screenshots, I'll post a collage once a week.

Dimension X, I found one for your challenge yesterday: I was watching Forever Knight (season 1 episode "Only The Lonely") and just past the 35 minute mark as the characters drive up in a car, behind them in the background is a highway where a big red Coke truck drives by. Couldn't help but think of you.
