Thanks for all the work, Chad!
Can we all just go ahead and agree to have this Challenge start in September and just run through the end of October? I think that makes all your hard work even more worth it!

Couldn’t resist and picked up the two sale 4Ks, Beastmaster and Incredible Melting Man, along with some of the ~$11 limited slipcover horror titles.
Considering the September bundle, but figure most of them will be $10-11 in a future sale.
Really tempted by Gorgo 4k, but hate paying even close to that price for a single film.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 19th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/31)
I wonder if that means they'll eventually play the Halloween III showing from Memphis?
My only complaint is Shudder dropped the ball and didn't do a Friday the 13th special, which means there's some rearranging to do. This is what I've come up with, and keep in mind all the theme/subset dates have yet to be assigned:
- Joe Bob breaks free from Friday the 13th and moves to 10/20 for his own theme with Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives staying put.
- Martin ditches Lugosi's birthday (10/20) and moves to The Horror Show Guide on 10/4.
- Alone in the Dark (formerly Show, 10/4) moves to 10/20 with Joe Bob (temporarily because he hasn't covered it).
- Possession (formerly TCM, 10/6) moves to Passport of Terror on 10/24 (Covers France and/or Germany since it was a co-production).
- Strangler vs Strangler (formerly Passport, 10/24) moves to TCM (10/6) temporarily.
- Alone in the Dark moves to RIP TCM Underground (10/6).
- Strangler vs Strangler moves to Joe Bob's new spot on 10/20 because he has covered it.
Of course that means no vampire film or theme on 10/20, but we currently have a couple of vampire films already, and more importantly nothing is lost.
In other words, Strangler vs Strangler is the new Joe Bob pick because it's the only film he's covered on the list that covers enough themes to move everything around without having to add another subset.
Before I make the changes, please let me know - Is that alright with everyone?

Wow, that is a lot of work to fix Shudder not doing a Friday the 13th special but it's good that it all works out for the themes/subsets films. Now if Shudder would just add Strangler vs. Strangler back to their lineup everything would work! Once again, thank you for all the work you do to make everything work for this Challenge!

Screambox streaming service will increase their subscription prices starting in October. The new prices will be $7/month or $60/annual.
So if you want to sign-up for the challenge, do it now. You can still get their current rates $5/month, $15/6mos, or $27/annual.

I don't use it as much as Shudder, but they have some good stuff.

Drive-In Theater episodes seem to be a lot harder to find than Monstervision episodes. But I did find JBB's intro/outro from the S vs. S episode, and have the English dub (in addition to the original Serbian/Serbo-Croatian). So for anyone who would like to, you will be able to sort of re-create the experience (jholmes, I'm looking at you ). I'll also still upload the Monstervision ep of F13 Part VI, of course, since I already have it on hand.

Just curious but I will likely sign up before the price change. $28 isn't bad for a year of access.

It's mostly licensed stuff. There's quite a bit of crossover with Shudder and Arrow's streaming services. They have a few titles labeled "Screambox Original" but I don't know if they actually produce anything or just get an exclusive license.
I've read that they stream at 1080p. I don't know about the audio. I would guess it's probably just stereo.

If anyone's a Scream fan, check out Scream: Legacy on Youtube. It's an excellent full-length fan film. It looks professionally done. It's got a good story that directly connects to the original trilogy. The effects look great. It has a legit soundtrack with decent songs. It's not quite theatrical quality. There's a few holes in the logic, and the acting's a little spotty. But it would be a decent direct-to-video sequel. If you like the Scream films, you'll really like it. The video on Youtube is 4K and looks great.

Chad, I've got probably a dumb question but my OCD forces me to ask it - is it ok to watch the rifftrax version of Terror at Tenkiller for the subset/theme? Also, the Investigation link in the checklist is not working.
