If the money was going to someone like Geoff, I'd consider it. But since it'll go to some giant, faceless, corporate conglomerate instead, I say fuck that indeed.

I was a big proponent of an ad-free paid membership for a number of years, but it was more about supporting the site (and Geoff) back then than anything. Not sure how I'll feel about it today. I guess I'll wait to see what "features" the membership brings along with it.

I might be interested depending on the price and the added features. I don't mind supporting DVDTalk, even via Internet Brands. Still better then XCritic

If you can simply upload pictures on the forum instead of hosting yourself, it would be a big plus. And no ads.

Maybe a "post a message so anyone but ___________ can view"
