I almost hate to give IB the idea, but if they required $20 to turn off avatars they might have made more money. I didn't mind them at first, but the recent outbreak of 'em convinced me to turn them off.

That's one of the main things I always appreciated about this forum. Finally had to break down and turn them off though, cause nothing makes a forum look cheap to me like avatars do.

I like the fact that they're limiting the size and not allowing graphics in sigs. I've been on several forums and pics in sigs are the worse because they're HUGE and reminds me of some ad.

We promised that we wouldn't remove any features from existing users, and the ability to turn off avatars was an existing feature.
