Re: Ads redirecting on mobile

This has been happening to me at least once a day on mobile. I can't imagine that's simply an add "slipping through".

We don't know it's happening if no one speaks up. I apologize that it's been occurring. Do your always look like the one Dan posted?

Re: Ads redirecting on mobile

I’m getting hammered today ... it’s opening a new tab and sending me to this link. (Adding spaces so it won’t provide a clickable link.)

h t t p s://guitarcenteregiftcardis.icu/us_facebookbox_walmart1000_hearoriginal_casino1/index.html?trackid=2018111819060528#

I noticed this morning was the first time in a very long time that I was forced to the mobile site (I don’t ever use the mobile site) and now I’m getting pounded every time I change pages in a thread.

^^ Yeah I'm getting that too on IPad. It's unusable.

By the way, I won a $1000 GC from Walmart.

Re: Ads redirecting on mobile

Well, they are back. I have been getting constant “Dear Apple User” pop-ups (always in a new “(1) Reward Pending” window/tab in Safari on iOS 12.1 with the “Block Pop-ups” setting turned on) from happy.uslucky.xyz over the past few days. It happens randomly but regularly as soon as a thread or subforum page loads.

I had this one on March 15. Since then I've had 2 blocked attempts.

I get this so often I just don’t come here much anymore. I miss our community but back to reddit for me.

Yeah, same here. Happened every time I clicked a link last night on my phone; gave up after the 4th time and left the site.

Re: Ads redirecting on mobile

I’m not seeing any of this shit, and haven’t for ages.

Maybe it’s because I’m running two ad blockers?

Re: Ads redirecting on mobile

I assumed this particular ad was specific to iOS/Safari. It does not happen to me on Safari via my MacBook; only when I'm on my phone.

Safari, United States, iPhone SE (it has now happened under both iOS 12.1 and 12.2 as of earlier this evening).

Re: Ads redirecting on mobile

Your mobile forum keeps redirecting me to stupid spam site mentioned above. It's been doing that for weeks now.

Re: Ads redirecting on mobile

Latest version of the Chrome app. Verizon on Motorola Moto Z2 Force edition. This happened in the HD Talk subforum itself. Wouldnt allow me to back to top page at first then came up with this warning !

Re: Ads redirecting on mobile

And keeps continuing to do that. Even as I attempt to post this comment. I've had to close the browser 3 more times. Basically an add loads and Bam !

Guess I will have to stay off for a while to see if when I come back it improves. If not I will have to step away for some days till thes attacks are gone.
