The auto-embed code that DVD Talk's using when you copy/paste an Instagram link is no longer functional. Here's the error message that Instagram is throwing:

They keep going back and forth with OKing us. I just made a new thread for our tech team and Meta corporate to look at (no need to respond to it, just for their usage)

Basically someone at Meta will OK us, then someone in a different department will rescind it. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Thanks Zuck!

What's going on with Instagram links? They don't seem to be visible anymore. Is Meta giving you guys more difficulty again? I can see it on my tablet, but can't see it on Chrome on a PC.

I can see it on Chrome. Likely you just have different settings for your different devices/browsers

I'm using Chome desktop (Windows) and can't see his post. It's just the "view this post on instagram" link that shows up.

Edit: just checked the mobile version on iOS with chrome and can't see it there either.

Edit2: I do see it in Edge.

It comes and goes not being able to see it. Same with Twitter, YouTube, etc. This has been a constant issue for weeks now. Seems more than just a "check your cookies" issue...

OK when everyone is saying "I don't see it", do you not see anything, as if there was no link? Or is it a big blank space? Or do you see the post and it just says "view this post on Instagra,"?

This is nothing new. The specific problems with Instagram posts has been going on for at least a month now.

Is there any chance you'll be able to fix embeds for Instagram posts? Or is that not priority? There are many forms of Instagram content that may not be available on X that I can't post here because it just leaves a bare generic link that no one will read.

And on another subject as well, is Threads able to be embeded here? Or does that not work?
