Even though Future Shop is owned by Best Buy, steelbooks which are "Future Shop exclusive" are exactly that, they can't be found at Best Buy here in Canada.

That's my birthday BTW, so I'm hoping it comes out along with some other good titles.

Starship Troopers is part of Amazon UKs 3 for 2 sale.

If you don't want to wait you could pick it up there along with a few other titles (Air Force One + The Island).

Are we sure its even a steelbook? The picture looks like they just put the Blu-ray behind the steelbook to show two different releases (a steelbook DVD and a Blu-ray release). Kinda like how on some commercials it looks like there is an HD DVD and Blu-ray version packed in the same case.

I saw an ad scan, but couldn't read the text so I may very well be wrong, but thats what it appeared to be. Guess we will know Tuesday! eBay will be filled with these I bet.

I don't think that steelbook is worth $14+ more than the edition you can get from Amazon. To each his own though.

Errr....when did I Am Legend become a 2 disc Blu-ray? I thought the Blu-ray has always been 1 disc (branching for the Theatrical/Directors cut)?

Have my Bonnie and Clyde back in the office today, and for the record, the "book" that it comes in is about 1/4 inch higher and 1/4 inch wider than a typcial Blu-ray box. Or, if comparing it to a standard DVD box, it's about 1/4 inch wider and about 1/2 inch shorter in height.

I don't have a ruler with me, but I'd say they're roughly 6 inches x 4 1/2 inches.

July 1st...

With splendor, scale and romance, Wild China journeys through China from the Himalayas to the Steppe, the sub-Arctic to the tropical islands. Over six episodes, we will travel the length and breadth of China to reveal the full extent and fabulous diversity of its natural wonders.

Wild China sounds great. It will be on 2 BD50s (same space as Planet Earth which was 4 BD25s) and cost only 39.99 MSRP. Picking it up for sure.

Hey now, EEz28, you can't just post a picture like that with no information at all and expect to get away with it! If you're just pulling legs or something, then there will be bl.. oh never mind.

I'll pass on those.

BTW, don't be surprised if The Recruit is 1.78:1 instead of 2.35:1, as it was on DVD. The director, Roger Donaldson, prefers that for home video (as with The World's Fastest Indian).

I'll definitely be purchasing Signs. Too bad it has a new release list price of $34.99 though. Hopefully The Sixth Sense will be out this year.

IIRC, I read June/July for Signs.

That is a little surprising that Signs and Unbreakable are being released before The Sixth Sense. Then again, those are my two favorite Shyamalan flicks, so I don't mind.

I've seen Sixth Sense on StarzHD and it looked quite nice. Seems to me they already have a transfer they can use.
