That is some chart for the week ending 1/12.
ETA: I always wish they would show total sales numbers as well. This chart has a completely different meaning if there were 10K sold week 1 ( 60-40 for the sake of argument) and another 10K sold week 2 (90-10 again for argument) or if the second week saw HD DVD stay "level" with 4000 units sold and a huge burst of BD player sales,. It would be good for HDM if adoption increases.
Not because it means good news for HD DVD, don't want anyone to think I am hanging onto a corpse.
I'll end all my posts with: These comments are not made by an "HD DVD Fanboy who can't let go."

Also, I would love you to show me my "vitriolic hate" towards Hunt. I have nothing against the guy. My larger point is that a lot of people follow his every word like gospel when he was very nearly completely wrong. He nearly led a lot of people onto the Titanic.
I also have issue with his journalistic ethics, but just seeing his name does not make me mad, it is the sad devotion some have to him that makes me shake my head.

What week was CES? I'm sure there would be a big jump in hardware sales after the Warner announcement, much like what happened when Paramount went Red. Not shocking by any means. Now, can they HOLD that ratio is the important question.
Now, some things not sure if they are being factored in...
Free units with TVs (Sony, Sharp, Pioneer, Samsung are all doing this)
Returns of HD DVD for Blu-ray ( -1, +1 ?)
360 AO (stand alone counted or not?)
Also, link to where you got this? Hopefully it won't be to Blu-ray.com .....

I see its from the Bits, where he now claims there was a $200 difference between HD and Blu-ray. Is he forgetting the 2 players priced at $299 for nearly all of December?
