He did provide info about the Paramount clause before the Financial Times did. Give it a rest and just call it a truce Gizmo.

Damn, the "Pro-B hate squad" sure is quick. Not even 10 min. went by and they were on location. Must be from the months of practice.

Yeah, because I'm going to waste valuable time on that just because you don't believe it. Never intended on doing so. Thanks for posting something with nothing to do with the topic, though.

Let's be honest, we could say the same thing about the "Pro-B love squad" as well.

That's the first time I've ever even addressed him. I just know from the posts that I've seen from him over the past few days that he certainly doesn't do a good job of representing himself as a staff member of DVDTalk, especially compared to the professionalism every other reviewer, moderator, and admin show.

What exactly has he done in this thread that is considered unprofessional? There is absolutely nothing controversial about his post.

Confirmation was given on a question pro-b answered in the first WB thread so I have no idea why these other guys are getting worked up about.

That. Was it needed? All its going to do is stir the pot. If he wanted to PM you some information thats wonderful, but he did not need to post that he PMed you "confirmation". It was done on purpose. He did it to get responses which is exactly what is happening now.

Don't respond to this because I won't continue with this little slap fest in this thread.

I've been getting bashed over the head a bit tonight as well. Hell, I was even told that the PS3 sucks as a game system. I guess over 1 million units sold just during the holiday season begs to differ. I'm sure that number will continue to climb over the following months.

Hey, pro-b keep posting that blu-ray love...music to our ears. I see that you have built a following...a negative following, but still a fanbase.

A lil over 45 posts, 1 pro-b post and over 20 anti-pro-b posts and counting. Hey pro-b, maybe you should change your name to Paramount or WB...or better yet to Mr. BLU-RAY.

I don't think the point was the PS3 sucks as a gaming system. It doesn't at all. The point is it is lagging in third behind Microsoft and Nintendo and shows no signs that it will catch up to either. The 360 game library in 2007 smoked the PS3 and 2008 already looks like it could be a repeat.

PS3 sales were better in December, but so were the 360 and Wii sales. Not to mention the PS2 is still outselling it in the US.

There hasn't been any PM-ing tonight, at all. Or yesterday, or the day before yesterday, He asked a public question in the Warner-pt.1 thread and I replied with a public answer. Now that a specific article has confirmed the answer I noted that he has an official confirmation.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Stirring the pot and baiting posters. I expect better from staff members.

The PS2 ( a sd dvd player ) outselling an XBOX 360 ( supposedly an HD player )...sounds good to me.

Oh yeah, before you stir that pot...don't forget to throw in a couple of HD-DVD discs in there. Boiling a disc is a time honored tradition inthe HD-DVD world.
