Picked the steelbook up (haha, up) today at Best Buy while I was getting my $9.99 Pinnochio BD and took some pics on my iPhone for ya guys.
FYI: There's a $7.50 deposit. It's written write on the cover insert on the box.

The discs are held one to the case (on the left side) and 3 on the flippy holders (one being double-sided and the other holding 1 disc), but I do think they could've made it a bit smaller (maybe 2 overlapping discs on each side with no flippies or 2 on both sides and 2 flippy). Also interesting to note, my copy was shrinkwrapped twice for no apparent reason.

I'd say it's about 2-3 BDs wide. It's pretty wide. 
Doh, someone quoted me before. I looked at the case again and only the first flippy was double-sided (I didn't see the holder on Russell's head at first glance). Which to me is weird.

So if you preoder this movie online at BestBuy.com (in-store pick-up), can you pick up the steelbook now or do you have to wait for the full order to be complete?

The steelbook was on display at BB this time, picked it up no problems. Had to clear out a few BDs on my shelf to make room for it though.

Just like the Snow White Steelbook, they didn't have it out... I looked everywhere, then had to go to customer service and wait for them to find it in back. Jeez, they even had a big poster advertising it in the DVD section!
Oh well... I got it, I like it, the size doesn't bother me at all.

Best Buy REFUSED to go in the back and get me this. I'm so angry right now ...
I was told that they are not allowed to grab items in the back because they are doing inventory. Numerous employees told me they can't give it to me until Wednesday.

No Separate steelbook for SDVD. Bestbuy just maximizes its target consumers.

Yeah the website advertises that you can pre-order any version of Up (single-disc DVD, double-disc DVD, Spanish-language DVD, or four-disc Blu-ray) and still get the SteelBook.
