I wouldn't mind if this came out as a boxset, as I am fond of the first and second films and have no (or don't recall having any) ill feelings towards the third.
As usual, I will wait for a decent price before buying.

I don't mind buying the boxset because the sequels are entertaining. The original is still one of my favorite movies of all-time, so I can't wait!

Oh, yes! All 3 for me too. I'd be disappointed to not get a set.
The first one is certainly the best and a classic, but I like the others very much too, although I didn't like the 2nd one very much when I first saw it.

The first one is the best. The second one has less heart, but I love how clever it is with the duplication and the way it "revisits" the original. The third one is okay, although I don't think the viewer feels the Doc/Clara relationship enough for it to be as strong as the others.

I have found that the Back to the Future trilogy is my favorite set of movies. They are the only movies that I can watch over and over again. I'd be disappointed if they didn't come in a boxset. It's like getting just one of the Lord of the Rings movies or getting A New Hope and not Empire Strikes Back and Jedi. I'm not saying they're as continuous as those movies, but to me that's what it is like. They're all fun and one of the best made trilogies. I used to love Part 2, but after a while I grew to dislike the alternate 1985 scenes, but how they tied everything back to the original in the 1955 scenes was pretty awesome. I used to not like Part 3, but have come to love it. I agree the Doc/Clara relationship isn't the best on-screen relationship, but the fun of the first two movies is still there.
I just hope they keep the special features from the individual DVD releases. I was bummed that they finally put BTTF the Ride and the other TV special on the individual release, leaving those that purchased the DVD set out in the cold with them. I thought about re-purchasing the first movie just for those, but I hoped that they would just put them on the blu-ray release.
Now if we can just get the cartoons on DVD, including the Doc Brown science sequences (ala Mr. Wizard). I loved those when I was a kid.

BTTFII is one of my favorite films... cmon, it's the dark side of Time Travel.
BTTF is a close second and I remember, even as a kid watching it in the theater, hating Part III.

Agreed. All three of them flow together really well to form one great story in my opinion. I would say Part II is my favorite but I love all three. The biggest problem I had with Part III was the train time machine at the end. Granted I realize these are science-fiction movies but that always seemed inconceivable to me considering where would he have gotten all those parts he'd needed to make it? I'm probably thinking way too much about it but its always bothered me. I'd love to get the cartoon series on dvd as well like someone above mentioned!!

But I'll still watch the BD. I don't hate the film, I just think it's far inferior to the first two.
