The colors should really pop on Blu-ray.

I'd rather have Batman: The Animated Series though. (Yes, I realize this release coming out has nothing to do with the potential for BTAS to come out).

Same here. I can get as much of I need of that series simply by watching the movie. So many of the series episodes fall real flat due to lame villains/guest stars.

BTAS has countless great episodes driven by lesser known villains.

I won't believe it until Conan O'Brien tweets a picture of himself standing next to the batmobile.

Are you sure this has been confirmed? I refuse to believe it until Adam West personally drives it to my house and loads a disc into my Blu-Ray player.

Now all we need is some bat-fan to get an advance copy and see how many tweaks and changes Warners had to make to the episodes. I know they're supposed to be uncut, but I still don't buy that there won't be some edits here and there.

I can't wait for this show to finally be available. So glad it's coming to Blu-ray as well as DVD.

Will this come with UV copies? The trailer mentions Digital HD, so that would be pretty cool.

Nice to see that it's coming on Blu-ray. I thought it would have been a DVD only release but I fear the price is going to be ridiculous...

I rather have JULIE NEWMAR "PURR" her way into my house to load my Blu-Ray Player.

Honestly though, this is one of those titles I've been waiting to get for so long that I'll pretty much fork over whatever the asking price is. I love the series and can't wait to own the complete set.

Re: Batman 60s TV Series Coming November 2014 in Blu-ray!

Truly, this is one my my most anticipated titles ever to be released on Bluray. I definitely won't buy until I see some reviews as to technical quality, compression, cuts made. But, I'm counting on Warner to fuck up the release somehow. It'll be the exception (and indeed convert me forever on Warner's competence) if it is a great release.

I'm surprised this is getting so much love. I remember it when I was a kid but its just so hokey and cheesy. I hope it does well so the studio will see promise in future releases, just never thought it would carry into this day and age.

A Julie Newmar highlights disk would be bat-tastic!

In my mind this series has held up despite being campy as hell because it never pretended to take itself seriously. It was goofy then and is goofy now but still a lot of fun. Plus the series was pretty much an accurate live action depiction of the comics of the period.
