Re: UHD release announcements
Glory is getting a new 4k steelbook on June 4th. I only have the digital version and hope to pick this up. The steelbook looks great with the original poster artwork.

Re: UHD release announcements
I got the regular 4k of Glory but the plastic has creases and wrinkles and it seems it must be a Sony problem since Air Force One, The Natural, and Cliffhanger all have the same problem.

Re: UHD release announcements
I am afraid if I remove the artwork and put it in a new case it would get messed up.
Now the artwork is not completely underneath the plastic and sticking out from the edges

I move artwork and cases around all the time, if the cases are the same size and the coverart isn't torn, you can just move it over.

The Crow is coming out 5/7.
Extras on the disc will include the all-new 3-part documentary Shadows & Pain: Designing The Crow with production designer Alex McDowell, the new-to-disc Sideshow Collectibles: An Interview with Edward R. Pressman, and legacy extras that include audio commentary with Alex Proyas, audio commentary with producer Jeff Most and screenwriter John Shirley, a behind-the-scenes featurette, A Profile on James O’Barr, 3 extended scenes, a deleted footage montage, and the theatrical trailer.
The steelbook looks really nice with the see-through slipcover and the wings/eyes logo on the inside of the case, though I wish they would have commissioned a painting for the cover by someone like Shipper instead of that bad photo. Since they recycle the same image for the cover, it's kind of obvious that Brandon died before they could take any promotional photos.
This will be my fourth purchase of this movie: VHS, DVD Boxed set, Blu-ray, and 4K steelbook.

Walmart has a better looking SteelBook. It says "Out of Stock." I don't know if that means it sold out already, or if that's something they do until closer to release date.
In any case, be advised that if you only order one disc, Walmart will ship it in a paper envelope with no padding. The last SteelBook I ordered from them arrived dented to hell and torn in half at the spine. For any SteelBook purchase, I would recommend ordering several items that ship on the same day so Walmart will have to pack them in a box.

Re: UHD release announcements
The Walmart Crow was already up for pre-order, sold out, went back up, and sold out again. Not sure if it will be available in stores.
I'm not a fan at all of buying limited edition items through the mail these days because almost everyone packages them for shit.

But no Subtitles and one disc, if blue-ray.com is correct. The studios are killing physical media.

Are these Walmart exclusive steelbook releases only available online? I have yet to find them in any of the Walmart stores close to me.

That packaging looks great for Godzilla. It would be perfect for a company like Arrow for the US rights to do a similar release.

Re: UHD release announcements
It'll be very interesting to see who Toho partners with for a U.S. release. Maybe they'll even do it themselves! I have no idea what to expect.
With all of the other Godzilla movies that Criterion has acquired the rights to, I wonder if they might even be a contender.

That Minus One set looks amazing, I really hope that the US distributor can replicate that set exactly.
And put me down for Andor and Obi-Wan for sure.

Re: UHD release announcements
Over at the other forum, there are people actually ordering the Godzilla Minus One Japanese release even though it seems none of them speak or read Japanese. They just want to "collect" it.
